I don’t see a lot of truth in it. Mosley was looking lacklustre before Margarito, that was just a good style match up for Mosley. Mosley went back to looking like trash immediately after Floyd. Mosley wasn’t ever going to do anything to Floyd, his style was always vulnerable to being outboxed by a careful boxer. Cotto and Pac gave strong showings against Floyd despite being well past their best. Floyd’s most impressive win by far post-Corrales is Canelo. Even then it is a bit questionable given the weight loss demands. Anybody can question Floyd’s career because he was never dominant and he never fought prime opponents. He also has a hideous style to watch, on the back foot potshotting, not being able to throw combinations, just doing the bare minimum to win. For all his fights I watched I didn’t pay for I still felt ripped off. Hopkins was much the same but at least he had the occasional underdog fight where he would systematically dismantle the favourite. Floyd never drowned a guy, he would run away splashing until he won a close decision.
