Surprising turn of events. Hearn and Kalle both dropped ball here. Where and when will the fight take place, what network will it be on? Sky have an exclusive deal with Matchroom, how does that impact this? If Epic sell the fight to anyone else but Sky in the UK will that result in a contractual problem that will force Whyte to pull out?
After a quick google, apparently the founder of this company used to work for Don King. Both fighters better be careful if this guy is anything like King they'll be lucky to walk away with half of what was promised.
Looking at those 3 fights, this is a big jump up in class in regards to boxing promoting for this outfit. The Jirov fight was in an arena with a capacity of 2,650, the Peter fight was at an abandoned private airfield, and the Mayorga fight was at a 10,000 capacity venue this year and looking at the video of that fight on Youtube it doesn't look very professional, look at how that ring shakes when the boxers move. Also without Kalle and Hearn who the hell are they going to put on the undercard? This content is protected
This has all the makings of a 90s straight to video movie where our heroes are brought to fight at the pleasure of a crazed billionaire. But this is no ordinairy boxing match, this is TO THE DEATH! Luckily Dillian makes friends with one of the serving wenches and she smuggles a key in to his cell.
