    RIP. Changed my life when I was younger.. took me off the streets and had me focusing for once and I changed so much in a couple years. Anyone who met him knows he was such a good person to be around

    Oh damn, Ingle was such a big figure in my formative years as a boxing fan. Some of my favourite fighters were Ingle fighters, Herol Graham and Hamed being the most obvious. RIP, he will be sorely missed, very sad to hear the passing of a British boxing hero.

    I never met Brendan Ingle, but he seemed a like a good guy and some of the posts confirm it.
