R4 - Swierzbinski comes out the most aggressive to start a round that he has in this fight. Effectively keeping Jackiewicz at range with his jabbing. He may have just caught Jackiewicz clean with a straight left that staggers Jackiewicz slightly, he could have just lost balance though because he seems fine. Swierzbinski really unloading now in this round. I’m not sure if Jackiewicz wants him to punch himself out but that’d be an idiotic strategy in a 6 round fight lol. This is a really disappointing round from Jackiewicz, although just as I’m typing this he lands his best punch of the fight. However Swierzbinski back on the offensive and is just hammering Jackiewicz.
    Jackiewicz 9-10 Swierzbinski
    Jackiewicz 37-39 Swierzbinski

R5 - Swierzbinski back on the aggressive front foot again. Jackiewicz is really trying to come forward now but his shots are either missing or being blocked. Swierzbinski back in the center of the ring, controlling the fight with his distance, and mixing up some nice jabs and straight power shots. It’s hard to see anyway back for Jackiewicz. Even though I haven’t really mentioned body work, Swierzbinski has clearly had the better work in that regard so Jackiewicz is being soundly beaten.

    Jackiewicz 9-10 Swierzbinski
    Jackiewicz 46-49 Swierzbinski

R6 - Swierzbinski comes out the aggressor even though he’s clearly in the lead. I’m not sure if he fears a robbery but it would be truly egregious if he did lose this. Jackiewicz trying to close the distance again but he seems tired. It’s starting to look like he may just be happy to survive this final round. After attempting to close the distance and doing nothing for close to a minute, Swierzbinski is back to keeping Jackiewicz at bay with his length. Lands a few hard punches that look to really shake up Jackiewicz. Jackiewicz tried one last attempt in the final ten seconds but gets shaken with a nice counter shot from Swierzbinski.
    Jackiewicz 9-10 Swierzbinski
    Jackiewicz 55-59 Swierzbinski

    Official Result:
I don’t know polish so I don’t understand the scores.
Swierzbinski wins by what sounds like unanimous decision.

Jackiewicz looks devastated. He knew from the second the final bell sounded that he had lost this fight. Swierzbinski also looks fairly sad for some reason lol

This is a strange fight card so far lol the “A-side” in both undercard bouts are really up against decent domestic competition. In the case of Jackiewicz, it already bit him in the ass

    Grew up idolising Braveheart maybe?

IB funfact: Swierzbinski was KTFO by David Lemieux five years ago in a tuneup, in 2 minutes flat, in case he looked vaguely familiar.

    Robert Talarek vs. Norbert Dąbrowski
R1 - The Battle of the Berts is underway. Not much happening in the first minute and a half so far. Dabrowski has landed more punches but Talarek seems to have the heavier hands. Hard to separate them so far. Talarek is on the front foot but Dabrowski has been pretty effective on the back foot. Talarek gets hit with a low blow and seems to be pretty shaken up. Good exchange to the bell, Dabrowski probably just takes the round but pretty close
    Talarek 9-10 Dabrowski

R2 - Dabrowski is a pretty good boxer off his back foot. He’s catching Talarek clean, whether it be in the body or head, every time Talarek rushes in. Talarek is having some moments however, he’s landing much more in this second round. He has a definite power advantage on Dabrowski, and as Talarek lands, Dabrowski’s effective backfoot movement slows significantly. Dabrowski is engaging in the sort of infighting that has a high potential of losing him this fight. Great round from Talarek and he’s absolutely unloading on Dabrowski against the ropes.
    Talarek 10-9 Dabrowski
    Talarek 19-19 Dabrowski

R3 - Both fighters’ respective defenses leave a lot to be desired, but it’s resulting in a pretty good fight to watch. Depending on how good Dabrowski’s chin is, he could be on his way to getting KTFO if he doesn’t get back to his first round strategy. Talarek walking down Dabrowski who is trying to fend him off with some decent counters off his back foot but Talarek frankly doesn’t give a **** lol. He just continues to walk Dabrowski down and pound away on him. Talarek is a mean son of a ***** lol I wouldn’t want anything to do with him if I was a Polish boxer in his division. This is pure savagery lol no skill, just walking forward and taking shots from Dabrowski but throwing way harder shots back. Great round

    Talarek 10-9 Dabrowski
    Talarek 29-28 Dabrowski

Would be cool if he came out to this obscure 90s Polish Viking Metal band.
