Before and after that I think his biggest payday was 2.5 million.

But somehow they want 15 million + options.

If that same argument literally applies to Canelo as well then its not much of an argument. Both fighters made tremendously more than their previous purse. Pointing that out doesn't mean anything.

 

No it doesn't apply to Canelo.

Canelo is a considerably bigger draw than GGG. By wide margins.

Pointing it out means that if a fighter is asking for more than what his brand is worth and won't accept a reasonably good offer, then that fighter is DUCKING.

 

Clenelo is one strike away from a getting a lifetime banned from boxing.

Canelos purse went up by a similar proportion that Golovkins did. Canelo isn't getting paid nearly as much without Golovkin. The argument directly applies to Canelo.
