    Maybe a little bit.
But I'm pretty sure most other boxers are capable of just copying one or two of his methods, and most not nearly as flawless.

It works for him with his insane reflexes, dootwork and hand-eye coordination, but not everything will work for all fighters.

Kostya Tszyu used to do the tennis ball thing. What Joshua and Lomachenko do with the lights has been around for a long time. And the research says it has no transfer to sport.
I’m a big Lomachenko fan but he incorporates some gimmicky training into his routine. A lot of it is psychological training, the holding his breath in the water etc.

These training techniques are nothing new.

But seriously, this is awful. It's teaching bad punching technique.

I believe when new techniques or just different ways of training come along most fighters will have a look, attempt them or start using them regularly.

Even if the new training methods are not hugely beneficial but simple because keeping fighters interested and things fresh in the gym is very difficult, there is a lot of repetition and it gets boring, that is a problem.

So anything "new" will be welcomed on most gyms.

It’s true. Tszyu had a number of unconventional training techniques that were similar. He trained reflexes, hand-eye, speed, dizziness.

Its not the fighters that come up with it ,it is the trainers they deserve the credit

If you showed me how to do something and I then and went and let the world think it was my idea . You would be pissed off

I don't really see the use in this, OK I'm not a trainer so my opinion matters **** but what's the point. You can't really improve your raw reaction speed by much, you can only improve how quickly your body reacts to something in a certain way and that's muscle memory.

All this is teaching is how to press a button faster.

No I’m saying it is psychological training rather than directly training any physical/physiological capacity. So it’s a tiny percentage thing, nobody should be looking to emulate it in their own training.

I was a big fan of Rafael Ruelas who could hit like the back kick of a horse, but also had the footwork of a newborn calf. Always felt that if he took some dance lessons to improve his footwork he might have been a better champ, so I wasn't surprised to hear that Loma's dad made Lil Vasyl take dancing lessons when he was young. That explains some of SweetTech's matrix moves.
