Till is secretly hoping for the type of help / decision victory Bisping tends to get when he fights in the U.K.

Wonderboy ironing out or submitting Till will render all of that irrelevant.

He strikes me as being like an MMA version of Tony Bellew. Something tells me if he beats Thompson here -- by hook or by crook -- he will be utterly insufferable for a long, long time.

It's not exactly easy to like a guy like that.

I don't think Wonderboy puts that much weight back on after the weigh in, by MMM standards that is. IIRC, Woodley had quite a bit of weight on him in the ring in their first fight.

At least the made the 188 checkpoint ... just.

If he is making boasts to that effect, it just adds fuel to the fire that he's too much of a wuss to fight at 185, and doesn't really fancy his chances there.

He should fight at 185 and get destroyed by Bisping. That'd be a good cash-out fight for him IMO.

“I ain’t no welterweight,” he continued. “I’m a light heavyweight in the welterweight division. It should be illegal, what I’m doing. The UFC should ban it but they can’t because I do it naturally and I do it professionally, and no one can do a ****ing thing about it.”

He's wrong: they can fine him for deliberately missing weight. What is "professional" about missing the weight limit for the division he's straining himself down to?

So it's essentially a Light Heavyweight who drains himself down, fighting a small Welterweight.

    I hope Thompson smokes him.

I know headgear helps with cuts/headbutts but it's proven headgear is actually worse for head trauma.

Tyson Fury and other pros don't always wear headgear. They say it'd be safer for our heads if we had no gloves or headgear (broken hands/cuts/superficial reasons are the only reason not to)

Looks like he got the advantage plus the hometown decision to go with it and wonderboy gets royally screwed yet again

Given how vocal Tyron Woodley has been regarding Dana calling him out on various things, part of me thinks Dana is now all in on Till to the extent that if Woodley vs Till gets made at some point for Woodley's Welterweight title and Till misses the 170 limit again, I could see Dana making every effort to let the transgression slide in the hope that Till can somehow turn Woodley over and capture the UFC Welterweight Title.

That's my conspiratorial take, anyway.

I don't think you are to far off mate especially with how unpopular Woodley is and how low PPV numbers are for his fights.Outside of Woodley v GSP I think the Woodley v Till fight would probably sell better and make the most money for the company then they would with Woodley against the winner of the interim title fight with RDA v Covington especially if they did an outdoor show at Anfield which could potentially sell 50,000 tickets plus.
