I would say a old Ortiz would be better but the rest are around that level

Good fight will fury be the first man to stop him?

Fury been out the ring for 3 years been taking drugs gained 150 kg this is not easy fight considering all these factors

Sefer would be better then nearly all of wilders opponents

He's a 40 year old cruiserweight who's only had 5 fights against boxers with winning records and who's only notable opponent is a shot Manuel Charr who beat him easily. 'Better than nearly all Wilders opponents'? No, even Wilder has consistently been fighting opponents significantly better than this since around his 20th fight.

He holds an international title, and Charr is not as good as he once was, and still beat him comfortably.

Tyson Fury said he'd be ready for AJ in his comeback fight, and a couple of idiots here on the forum actually took that non-sense serously and defended that BS idea. Excuse me, but Seferi is quite a step down from AJ.

Seferi is a cruiserweight so he would have been a good opponent for someone like Tervel Pulev who is building up a record. For an established former world champion, Seferi is a bad choice even under the current circumstances. Vitali KlitschKO made a comeback against the current WBC champion. But I guess one cannot compare a great fighter like Vitali with nowadays belt holders.

Anyways, I hope that this a very small step towards resuming a good career. I guess Warren will schedule him a better fight for the autumn.

This one of the worst opponents I could of considered. He was better off taking on Bellew at least it’s still a cruiserweight and brings some money to the table. There is no way to justify this pick, hopefully he shakes the rust off and takes on a top 30 guy next lol

Fury is coming back from a drug addiction and a major weight loss. He just needs to slowly get back in the groove of things. Nothing wrong with fighting an unknown.

Given he's nearly a foot smaller than Fury, Seferi should perfect the Andre Ward low check jab to the crown jewels - then Fury will be in real trouble.

No need to polish a turd. Fury has been out for a long time and put his body through a massive trauma by gaining so much weight and snorting so many drugs. Would be foolish to risk pitting him with anyone who even had half a chance on his first fight back as nobody knows if he's shot or not.

This fight is simply to blow away some ring rust. He'll need to fight again soon or risk blowing up in weight again and he needs to step up his comp in his next fight to see if he has anything left. But for a first fight back this was pretty much expected.

No one expected the first comeback opponent to be any good and everyone is giving Tyson Fury this fight off, because of the massive weight gain and time out of the ring.

But lets be clear here. He isnt better than ANY of Wilder's last 10 opponents. You probably have to go back to Matthew Greer in 2013 for the last time Wilder fought someone at this level.

If Seferi can move a bit and not get knocked out inside 2 rounds then at least its a worthwhile exercise. I think Tyson Fury will stop him in 3-5 rounds.
