Remember when Wladamir Klitschko was supposed to have a grade A glass chin?

    He did crumble.

He ran , held , back humped and was in total panic for the majority of the fight. Even grazing blows off Peters was enough to put him down.

Because he cheated by fighting in a style where the opponent was banned from boxing on the inside.

His whole gab and grab style was concocted to protect his fragile glass chin. He just could not handle a glove hitting him on the head. It sent him into complete panic and disarray

Joshua flattened Wlad every time he landed flush on his dome..

What does it make Lennox Lewis hitting power then , when he couldn't keep a washed up glassed jawed Tommy Morrison down despite hitting him with his most powerfull punches. Notably the uppercut. The same uppercut that had the supposedly iron chinned Vitali hanging on for dear life with a pair of bambi legs underneath him.

Is Lewis a featherfist too? :nut:

Not a valid excuse, because he has been hit, despite supposedly 'cheating'. And he still hasn't been knocked out unconscious or dropped for the 10 count in 69 bouts. Someone with a true glass chin would've suffered this fate at least once, if not multiple times.

And against Joshua, Wladimir Klitschko didn't cheat. So why couldn't Joshua put Wladimir Klitschko to sleep, when he was 41 years old and coming off a 2 year lay off? Why did he take 11 rounds to do something that had already been done in 2 rounds over 10 years ago? Or are you now ready to accept that Joshua is a feather fist that can't crack an egg?

    Correct.

    ^^^
He was so terrified of getting hit by a shot to bits Peter in the rematch -who was so slow it took him about a minute to wind up a punch- he desperately hung on , gropped and bear hugged him every time he got within range.

That was the same Peter who was toy'd with and completely blown away by Robert Helenius who never needed to initiate a single clinch or illegal bear hug.

'Flattened' is a vague term. Observably speaking, I saw Joshua failing to keep Wladimir Klitschko at age 41 with a 2 year lay off down for the 10 count or failing to knock Wlad out unconscious. That is a fact! Even the stoppage itself was premature. Wlad was blocking pretty much every Joshua punch that Joshua was throwing when the fight was stopped.

I never once claimed Tommy Morrison had a 'glass jaw'. That's your nonsensical misinterpretation. So I don't have to claim that Lennox Lewis is a feather fist.

And I'm not even claiming Joshua is a feather fist either. Rather, I'm claiming Wlad can't have a glass jaw and Joshua not be a feather fist when he failed to keep Wlad down for the count or failed to put him to sleep.

So why couldn't Joshua (or anybody else for that matter) put Wladimir Klitschko to sleep after landing their punches?

Because the experienced Wlad fought very defensively against the inexperienced and green Joshua.. He still ended up down multiple times before being stopped by Joshua who was still just a prospect learning on the job..

Don't matter what you think.. The glass jaw hall of fame has Morrison ranked in the top 10. You can't really claim to know much about boxing if you didn't know Morrison had a weak chin.

Not a good excuse! Joshua DID LAND HIS BEST PUNCHES on Wlad. AND HE LANDED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES. Experience had nothing to do with it. If he landed his best shots and couldn't keep Wlad down, then it's simply a case of Joshua lacking power or Wlad not having a glass jaw. Can't have it both ways unfortunately!

A younger Mike Tyson put Larry Holmes to sleep. Why couldn't Joshua do the same to someone who I presume you would think has an inferior chin to Larry Holmes?

And they dropped Wlad every time.. Joshua didn't land a lot of clean blows due to Wlad coming in extremely light and using movement to evade his assault.

Takam used the same strategy , but when he was caught flush , he hit the deck. Anybody who knows boxing knows its hard to stop somebody whose fighting ultra defensively.

I also never claimed Tommy Morrison didn't have a 'weak chin' either. It's you who doesn't know much about boxing if you claim Wladimir Klitschko or anybody with a slightly weak chin has a 'glass jaw'.

Perhaps learn what a 'glass jaw' is first? Someone who has a true glass jaw would be put to sleep at least once out of 60+ fights. Amir Khan has a glass jaw. David Price arguably has a glass jaw. Wladimir Klitschko absolutely doesn't!

Troll , Mike Tyson demolished Holmes in 4 rounds.. Holmes was NEVER stopped before OR after that fight and he fought 75 fights up to the age of 50

I think a lot of people found it unbelievable that someone that looked like Sanders (at the time) could hit so damned hard. It made Vlad look ordinary & up to that point, after his brother Vitali, he had been virtually announced as the 2nd coming...people thought Sanders was an "opponent, so did Vlad (Lol)Against a young Vlad Sanders looked a pudgy little guy,who was slipping over the hill ,just, & a little out of condition .... The man....should have been called Mr Dynamite!

Erm, last time I checked, it was Joshua that was giving up the center of the ring and was back peddling for most of the fight by moving close to the ropes whilst Wlad was in the center of the ring for much longer. That debunks any myth about Wlad somehow coming to survive.

Hitting the deck isn't good enough. Joshua landed multiple, flush clean and full powered punches on Wladimir Klitshcko and Takam and if the best he could do was simply drop them, then you have to question his power. Especially against Wladimir Klitschko.

Takam literally stood right in front of Joshua in the last 3 rounds and took Joshua's best shots without even going down once. This is a guy who was put to sleep by a blown up light heavyweight / cruiser weight in Povetkin when he was still in his prime at age 34. Just to keep things in perspective.
