    Just as the title says....opinions?

I frequent several hip-hop forums and in the boxing subs they all seem to be very high on farmer and his abilities

In fact they say he's the man to beat Loma and he supposedly got the better of Loma in sparring repeatedly (not that it counts for Jack if it even happened)

I'm told he was mismanaged early in his career which led to losses as he was green and still learning...as well as a gunshot he suffered to his lead hand

Personally I never followed him much outside of the ogawa fight....which I scored for ogawa(but he's been proven a steroid cheat so that win is a asterisk in my book)

Furthermore they said he's a "slick cat".... "Slicker than wet asphalt...yea slick than that" (many things rhyme on hip hop forums mind you)

Personally from what I've seen of him....he seems more style than substance
He does more moving than sticking, and while he flicks out a nice jab, he doesn't work to continuously put it out there

Of course they think he can beat tank too....but that's another story

I always thought Farmer could beat Davis, and still do - but what has changed after Ogawa vs. Farmer and Lomachenko vs. Linares is that I no longer entertain any fantasies about Tevin having a prayer against Vasyl.

Tevin gets decapitated by everyone in the Top 10, maybe Top 20 at Super Featherweight. Berchelt beats him easy, Tank savages him, Machado KO's him cold, Roman, Castellanos, Vargas brutalize him, Sosa, Gamboa, Shafikov, Salido, Chuprakov, Corrales and Cuellar maul him, Rigo... please. Tennyson, Rakhimov, Gonzalez, Alexeev, Smith, Alvarado, Pitufo, Ward and KingRy all viciously **** him up. Farmer should just retire, he's got nothing but ghoulish beatdowns that await him. Ogawa beats him even more definitively the second time around too.

Farmer has too many holes. Dude is all reflexes and no real technique.
He doesn't really know how to set up any of his offense nor does he know how to take advantage of his opponents mistakes.

Vasiliy would school Farmhand so hard that Farmhand will no longer be cross-eyed.

Loma's style all wrong for Tarver, it'd be like the Rigo fight.

Farmer is defensively responsible enough to go the distance with Lomachenko, although I dont like the idea of him jumping weight right now.

    Haha!
I think something is getting lost in translation here....I'm not the enemy bro

So Are you actually agreeing with their opinion that farmer is a bad matchup for Loma?

I think that Farmer has literally close to zero chance to beat Loma. If that fight was announced the betting odds would be ridiculously in favor of Lomachenko.

Tevin Farmer still has Ogawa problems. HBO managed to convince casuals that Farmer won.
