So It's a Mexican Standoff between Canelo and GGG, 65/35, who blinks first.

I'm not necessarily referring to PPV's, HBO ratings also show how much of a draw Canelo is.

Some fans booed. Seemed like an isolated bunch, but you're absolutely correct in that Mexicans are usually unbiased or at the very least the most unbiased fight fans.

Mexican fans aren't stupid. They know that a fighter can take on some light touches as long as he continually seeks the best challenges, which Canelo has proven to do so time and time again.

Canelo fans would be happy if GGG got 5% the slags.

Mayweather and Golovkin are the standout fighters.

Prior to Trout who I believe to be B level Canelo was fed a steady diet of blown up 140 fighters and old guys. Then we had Lara and a lot of gimme wins against B level opposition inbetween.

I'm not going to even try to dissect his resume as I'm a fan and it can be done with everyones resume but in between Lara and Golovkin he has had his fair share of gimme fights.

65/35 is more than fair. I had GGG winning the last fight but Canelo boxing far better. It was GGG's motor and Canelo's inactivity that lost Canelo that fight. Canelo is going to get better, GGG is going to get older and slower. I actually think GGG might be a bit scared to take this fight. If Canelo can sustain his work 30% more he wins this hands down.

Off topic I thought GGG came into the first fight looking fat and I thought he looked drained at the weigh in as though he had been believing that he could just turn up.

Prior to the second fight I thought GGG looked better in the run up and at the weigh in for Vanes, although he is slipping, age is catching up with him I'm just wondering if he had actually infact took his eye off the ball

Well recognized. Probably he started to take care of his health and diet more, as we have seen in videos or 247 HBO episodes that he was eating everyday in a Mexican restarurant, thats quite strange from an elite athlete.
