Can't look past Junior in this era. From being touted as a genuine threat to the long-term health of potential opponents and the future slayer of GGG (admittedly, claims made by his father) to losing handily to George Groves.

Elite level hype, moderate skills, terrible resume....

David Price was Hyped up massively at the start of his career. Until he stepped up a level and started getting knocked out. A lot.

Even for the General forum, there are some really bad responses in this thread.

The correct answer is Conor McGregor. People lined up to see him fight Mayweather and thought he actually stood a chance.

I had McGregor pitching a shut out until the come-from-behind stoppage.

Nobody ever actually called Broner the next Mayweather. I've heard Mayweather clone, but not actually the next Mayweather.

How did Jacobs expose GGG? By having a tough competitive fight? If Jacobs beat him easy then yes. But he lost, and most the boxing public agrees with the result

He exposed GGG in many ways. 1.) He's not this KO puncher many people thought he was, as Jacobs according to ESB was going to be put on a stretcher. Fortunately I'm smarter than that.

2.) GGG can't fight going backwards.
3.) G IS very susceptible to uppercuts.
4.) IF you can take his punch and have a good skill set you can beat him, as shown in the three fights where he finally stepped up.
