Abraham fought with a broken jaw for half the fight with Edison Miranda. He is always the smaller guy at 168lb. He also fought every body when he didnt have to.
Abraham has too much heart but at 38 years old its time to retire. He could be outboxed but you dont want to trade with him.
I remember all the head butts that Miranda did in that first fight. I was worried for Abraham in the 2nd fight but he destroyed him.
Abraham has balls, but he is just way too small for super middleweight, really short for middleweight. He has never been any good at super middleweight, never! All he does is walk in with his gloves covering his face...........and then take lots of punches....................
He can still make some money if he has to. I guess it's hard to walk away. But he is a fringe contender at this point and needs to be careful. Btw, Abraham was never a small SMW, just short. Ramirez, Ward, Froch and Dirrell were all lean guys. And they tried to get Abe back down to 160 but it could not be done.

Guys, please stop romanticizing Abraham's so-called "heart". That in those pictures Serge has curated here is the face of a man who BEGGED his trainer, multiples times, over and over to let him quit and then was kowtowed into repeatedly answering the bell like a little bitch afraid to speak back to daddy.
Sure, and if Wegner had allowed him to quit, I'd be first in line to defend him from armchair quarterbacks hurling names at him and calling him a *****. My point is, don't hold the man up as some paragon of bravery and cite Miranda I as your example when the actual fact of the matter is that he was crying & whimpering in his corner asking Papa Ulli to please throw in the white towel for him..
