Got the dreaded call this past Friday. My best bud from the Army finally gave into the stress from multi combat tours. I will leave Oklahoma tomorrow night and fly into Nashville to deliver his eulogy at the military service
We been tight for over 23 years and his family from California found me and requested I do the service. He was found alone and dead in a hotel room in Nashville. We had just talked three weeks ago
When folks thank me for my service I always say thanks but add that serving was the easy part
