So It's a Mexican Standoff between Canelo and GGG, 65/35, who blinks first.

So you truly believe that the true boxing fans came out for Canelo v Khan/Smith/Kirkland, as casuals only come out for "big fights"?

Canelo has been promoted exceptionally well and his fan base is one of the largest in the sport, again due to this he will be allowed to get away with the Spike fight whilst GBP shamelessly claim GGG ducked them. I guarantee, and I'm a Canelo fan, that we will not see Canelo v Charlo or Jacobs next if no Golovkin.

Trout has never been an "A level fighter", outside of beating Cotto, a Cotto who was out of sorts, he hasn't got a single big W on his record and lost everytime he has stepped up in competition against the top guys. Write down his top 3/5 wins then you will realise.

Canelo has only ever conceded to Floyd who himself was the actual cash cow, Lara,Cotto, etc if they wanted the fight had to go to 155/Caneloweight for the fight and GBP/Canelo even tried to get GGG at that weight too.

"True boxing fans" are what's keeping this sport alive. We will watch anything that has to do with boxing. Every boxing event draws the true boxing fans. The amount of casuals that show up is based on the
star power of the main attraction. So YES there were both true boxing fans and casuals at those events. You are not suggesting that Canelo does not attract "true boxing fans"?

Honestly you sound like a casual Canelo fan(your claim) if you really believe he would not step up to face Charlo or Jacobs. And it actually looks like you guys are moving the goal posts now, a couple of days ago some were claiming that he would not even face Saunders but now that Oscar has mentioned that as a high possibility you guys have moved on to Charlo and Jacobs.

This will all be moot pretty soon anyway since I really believe someone will come to their senses and budge on their demands.

65/35 is absurd, hell, it should be at least 60/40, Golovkin should demand neutral judges, referee, boxing commission as El Pollo plans to cheat once again. El Pollo clearly lost the first fight, how many Byrds will there be as judges?

I never said he wouldn't fight them but I guarantee you that if it's not Golovkin that it certainly will not be Jacobs or Charlo.

I personally think that he beats Charlo, I think he's the better fighter and Charlo has done nothing better in his career so far that Camelot has not done. Jacobs could be a nightmare for Camelot with his size and style.

If there's no Golovkin next you can bet your last pound that it'll be Spike or Lemieux

Every Hispanic fighter & fan I know here despise Oscar & Clenelo. They refuse to accept he's Mexican. He;s supposed to be part Irish too BUT The Irish too are respected FIGHTERS!! I wonder just where did he come from.

Cotto is A level, and so is Jermall Charlo, and Canelo Alvarez.

Austin Trout didn't only hold his won against all three, but he outclassed Cotto, he beat Jermall Charlo imo, and he gave Canelo his toughest fight aside Mayweather.

Austin Trout may be passed his prime now, but make no mistake, he was an A level fighter.

As for your 155 comment. There are only TWO fights where Canelo was the peticioner for 155 and it was against Lara and Angulo, both big JrMWs who come in at about 170 lbs fight night.

Cotto and Khan both demanded the fight take place at 155, not Canelo.

Mayweather, Cotto, and Khan all had weight demands to fight Canelo, and Canelo obliged all three times. Canelo also moved 10 lbs north from his last fight to 164 in a compromise to fight JCCjr. while Jr moved down four lbs from his last fight six months prior.

And YES, Canelo called GGG's bluff that he would fight anyone between 154-168, only for GGG to backtrack yet again, (the first time being against Ward) and refuse the challenge to a Non-title CW fight at 155 since Canelo had not had a single fight above that weight. Eiether way Canelo ended up fighting him a year later at 160.

IF GGG doesn't like the offer he needs to move on and so do his fans. He has stalled his career far too much. He needs to fight Saunders, Derevyanchenko, Charlo, and give Jacobs the rematch. All that legacy talk went out the window really fast.
