Does anybody actually believe GGG will fight Charlo?

Canelo's resume is by far better than Golovkin's, it isn't even close.

……..but do you think GGG will fight Charlito if he becomes the mandatory?

 

Canelo has the money to get whatever opponent he wants. He chooses his opponents, GGG has had far more difficulty securing good opponents, especially in the 2010-2016 period.

No idea, probably not very likely but more likely than the Derevyanchenko fight as it's more money. Most likely Canelo and GGG agree to something in the region of 60/40 and rematch in September.

If the rematch doesn't happen do you honestly think Canelo will fight Charlo, BJS or Jacobs? Or will it be Spike or Lemieux?

1. Canelo
2. Saunders
3. Chenko or Charlo

Sanchez has stated that Golovkin is not going to fight BJS because BJS is asking for too much $$. Sanchez stated that Golovkin is not going to unify because he can't make the fight with BJS.

So if the Canelo fight doesn't happen in September, chances are he's going to fight Derev next to get his IBF mandatory out of the way, and after that it sounds like he's going to be mandated to fight Charlo who is now the interim WBC Champ. (but the WBC Pres may let him fight Canelo first)

Of course what's holding all this up is the IBF decision, they sure seem to be taking their sweet time lol.

Like the WBA belt he was given when he fought Milton Nunez a JrMW who had never fought at MW and needless to say is not even a journeyman level.

Canelo started his pro career at 15 and has fought everyone the fans have demanded. He took on Trout and Lara when he could have fought the much easier titlists. If anything Canelo is one of the very few fighters who have paid their dues to be where he is at.

 

I bet you also believed that Canelo would not fight, Trout, Lara, or GGG right?

For a "Cash Cow" fighter like to take on difficult style fighters like Trout and Lara is rare, he needs to be commended for taking those fights.
The Golden Boy himself Delahoya would have avoided such fights and he did just that by never considering fighting Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright.

People need to realize Canelo has been taking on all-comers throughout his career, particular styles have not deterred him.
