By making extreme demands that's how. Golovkin made several demands which Canelo agreed to like re-enrolling in VADA, but both sides had an agreement on the split over a long period of time, and Golovkin started demanding way more than both sides had already agreed to.

Mayweather was accused of ducking Pacquiao becuase he was making demands that were extreme and unheard of at the time. (demanding Pacquiao submit to Olympic style blood and random urine testing)

Not only that, but obviously the split was heavily in favor of Mayweather. If Pacquiao started demanding a 50/50 split what do you think would have happened to negotiations?

It's not a DUCK *yet*, we still need to see how this plays out, but if the fight doesn't happen and Golovkin refuses to agree to the split that both sides had agreed on over a long period of time, then what else do you call it?

I mean, Canelo was accused of ducking Golovkin two years ago when the WBC tried to force a purse bid on him giving him a 15 timetable following the Khan bout. He was basically stripped and that was seen widely as a duck. But now the shoe is on the other foot, Golovkin being pressured by the IBF to fight his mandatory all of a sudden demands a 50/50 split and it's not a duck? How does that work lol.
