Joe Louis was 6”1.5”, so 5’11.5” looks perfect. I’m right That clip you posted doesn’t help you....Charles wasn’t active at all, notice how he pushes his jab rather than snap it like he did in the 1940s, his reflexes look like they move in slow motion. Sanders definitely had faster hands than the 54 Charles
Louis stated he was 6'1.5" tall I his autobiography.
Louis stated he was 6'1.5" tall I his autobiography.
Thank you. This clown is trying to state louis May have been 6’3
I'm replying to you alone.
I said Louis was 6’1.5” in my post. Re read. You agreed with me. The other poster tried to state louis is 6’2-6’3”

Coetzer was , a game big guy but very easy to hit.He didn't have either the power or speed of Sanders.
I more or less agree with everything you wrote. Sanders tends to be grossly overrated, and apparently, that extends here into the classic forum more so than I realized.
And Marciano's would be that there were no heavyweight southpaws around to prepare him for Sanders. That's not hyperbole. And those who don't think that matters ignore the reality of just how hard it is for an orthodox fighter to take out a good southpaw their first time out. Nobody would pick Moorer over Holyfield if the fight never happened, either.
Coetzer was moribund and ponderous. There was no dynamic aspect to his game. And he got hit. This would be a more entertaining match-up. And Rocky would pound him.

You're wrong. I posted a photo of Louis next to a 5'10-5'11.5" fighter and he towered over him significantly. Against Charles he was only slightly taller. You want to talk about active? Charles threw more punches in the same amount of time than Sanders did you buffoon plus he was far quicker.
The 40s Charles yes. Not the 1954 past his prime Charles you clown You’re wrong. Louis was 6’1.5”. Plenty of evidence Stop ballwashing Marciano!
Manny Pacquiao is a way,way better fighter P4P than a middleweight contender like Derevyanchenko, but Derevyanchenko would still knock him out any version of him. The size difference between those two is significantly less than this matchup. I still can't grasp why physics goes out the window the instant someone slaps a "heavyweight" label on a fight. Marciano is the same weight as Kovalev on fight night along with being shorter with less reach. Sanders never got stopped by anyone who weighed less than 245 pounds. Forgive me for being dumbfounded that the guy 60 pounds lighter than that, who had no exposure to southpaws, is the one getting all the benefit of the doubt to win by knockout.
