When I see the Klitschko fight, the only Povetkin's loss, it is difficult for me to take it into account. For one as the other.

    The referee was under influence.

I know what you are saying. I like Wlad but that was a shocking display of holding and other dodgy tactics that frankly Wlad should have been ashamed of and clearly the ref did little to stop. Wlad was clearly so wary of Pov's power that he set out in this mode form the start. Very close to being a NC for me.

That was a joke. Remember how Wlad also tried to make Tyson Fury fight him on a bouncy castle? Povetkin needed to be wise to these tactics and should have demanded a referee who he could be sure was going to be neutral.

Why no complaint from Pov? Just usual Wlad bashers moaning.

I see the fight completely different:

Povetkin comes forward and then either:

    A) Throws his left arm under Wlad’s right arm and wraps it around Wlad’s torso. Unless Wlad throws his arm up into the arm, it causes a clinch. NEVER does Povetkin actually keep his left hand closer to his own body so it doesn’t end up wrapped around Wlad. That’s Pov initiating a clinch, not Wlad.

    or

    B) Povetkin ducks his head under Wlad’s right arm. Same result.

An infighter who gets close keeps his hands to himself and his head on the opponent’s chest or in front of the target. He punches when he gets in range instead of wrapping his arm around the opponent — watch and you’ll see he does this over and over.

Tell me how the taller fighter avoids a clinch when his opponent’s head or arm is lodged right below his armpit.

Why Wlad couldn't use the same tactics against his gods, his lords, his masters, his annihilators and his rapists named Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua? Superior BRITISH FIGHTERS!

Why Wlad failed against the superior British breed but never against Russians? Are Russians an inferior breed?

What in the blazes are you babbling on about?

You can see clearly bellow that Povetkin comes inside low under the jab with his hands to himself and is then completely engulfed by Wlads torso which consumes him like an octopus.

The entire 12 rounds look exactly like that scene. It was like that all the way through and Wlad realistically should have lost by DQ after only the 4th round.

Put it this way- Wlad beat Povetkin performing exactly like Broner when he lost to Porter.

If Broner had Wlads corrupt ref he would have illegally won too! Wlad = Broner. Same thing

Povetkin lost. It was his fault for not retaliating against Wlad's dirty tactics. Tyson in his prime would use forearms and elbows if the tall guys used excessive clenching and tried to muscle him. Biggs tried it and ate a hard forearm right in the mouth. Tony Tucker tried it and ate a few elbows and went back to boxing clean.

    Chambers retaliating against Wlad

He didnt employ special tricky tactics for Povetkin thats how he always fought and the refs let him get away with it for as long as i can remember him fighting. He should of been warned and point deducted many a time, never was. So its up to fighters to combat what they know will be coming, Chambers wrestled him to the ground, Haye dropped to the floor and Fury wouldnt allow him close enough to grab and lean on him. The Pov fight was even in Russia so the ref could of been pressed to watch out for this by the home side.

We call this fight invalid we guna have to call most Wlad wins invalid. All fighters have some trait that is questionable one way or another.

No doubt. Could have been an entirely different outcome with a decent ref.

How are these illegal tactics? Povetkin rushed into Wlad clinching and glueing himself under his arm...

    Klitchko got tired of it.

Parker did the same thing to Joshua with less aggression. Lol
