What makes you think he’s competent Euro Level? Has he ever beat anyone in the top 50?

He’s a feather fisted bum who’s fought likewise so has never been stopped and that’s what is the selling point here. Alls we’re gona hear about is how Sek has never been stopped and then Yarde takes him out in 2 or 3 and Yarde is once again proclaimed as Sugar Floyd Mohammed Tyson Jones jr.

It’s pathetic and you can see it a mile off.

It’s detrimental to the fighter more than anyone because he needs rounds and he’s not getting them.

Yarde should have been targeting Boessel for the EBU. 27(10)-1-0. The only loss is an 11th round stoppage to Murat, he’s not a big puncher and he has a title. #10 WBC #4 IBF #5 WBO. On paper it would be an easy opponent but a very creditable one and then target Murat next.

    Or an alternative...

This who Boessel is fighting next defending his EBU title.

    Enrico Koelling 25(8)-2(1)-0

Not a big puncher but he’s durable. He went 12 rounds with Beterbiev before getting stopped.

This is a perfect type of opponent for Yarde, he’s not going to hurt him, he’s ranked 11 with the WBC and 23 with boxrec, he’s durable. He’s went 12 rounds with a monster.

I would agree with those options and I would like to see something along those lines for the next opponent - if not, I will be critical of Warren and Yardes team

I haven’t tried to dress the opponent up as anything special - he’s a reasonable Euro level operator nothing more, nothing less.

I listened to an interview with Yardes trainer Tunde the other day and he explained that he had asked the matchmaker for a tall rangy southpaw which Sek seems to be as he wanted Yarde to tick that box as part of his development before moving onto bigger things which I think is fair enough. I’ve agreed with you above In regards to your list of possible acceptable opponents and I will be expecting Team Yarde to deliver.

His team have stated on many occasion that yarde is above British level apparently

Since they’ve said that they kind of shot themselves in the foot because he now has to fight eurobums instead

Ducking on the beterbiev fight even though he was ranked the highest so he now needs to at least get the ebu or his team will look even more stupid

Callum Johnson stepping up to fight beterbiev instead aswell

When in reality yarde should’ve fought burton or buglioni when he was offered those fights and the public would’ve been happy

Perhaps behind closed doors he’s chinny?

Not knocking is ability but his team can't just say his above domestic level. His talented but they dodged burton wanted no part of Johnson while claiming to b world level then turning down a world title shot to fight super middleweights and people you have never heard of who have no world rankings. To much hype for wats been delivered by his team.

Its just over 3 weeks away now fellas and still listed as a TBA.

What kind of Hungarian or Latvian bum is going to be dragged up from the gutter this time who will take a fight on 3 weeks notice or less?

They (Warren and Yarde) wanted the Buglioni fight, offered it him and Hearn didn't want it.

Because he needed to fight burton in an eliminator first but he didn’t fancy that either
