Can we quit the "Cherry" Garcia stuff now?

I do think his dad is the cause of the vast majority of the hate he gets. It's why I don't like him.

Didn't Angel report Judah to the police after talking his usual nonsense and then worrying someone from Zab's team was going to give him a well deserved smack in the mouth?

His welterweight run has been a joke, i give him credit for attempting to unify but let’s be honest he is only taking this porter fight because he hasn’t got any better options. It’s either that or fight Spence and we know which one is the harder task.

 

He spent the first 6 rounds on the back foot and not throwing all that much. Would need to watch again but i rememer thinking Peterson should have picked up his work earlier and he would.have had an easy win. He battered Garcia in the 2nd half.

 

Danny does have one of the more solid resumes of any active fighter in boxing today, that's for sure. I think he beats porter too!

You are right, we should never call him Cherry Garcia once again, it's disgraceful. His proper nickname is Danny "Gift" Garcia

 

He has that extra toe that gives him an unfair footwork advantage. I don't know why any sanctioning body allows him to fight with such an edge.

 

He has some high quality opponents with some softer touches mixed in. When he fought Mattyhsse that was one of the best fights to be made in the sport.

And many people had him as the under dog against Khan. Peterson was never an easy night's work.

Can't argue the gift against Herrera. But more often than not Danny takes good fights.

Danny Garcia is pretty poor at 147 and is not top 5 at the weight most likely.Had a good run at 140 tho.

I believe that Porter is pretty overrated as well and isnt top 5 at 147 but lets see who wins between those 2 anyway.

Imo even shot Pacman is better than those two at 147 currently , thats how low i rate them.Danny turned down years ago payday vs Pacman for a reason.

Spence,Thurman,Crawford,Pacman,Brook even if hes done at 147 for now until Khan fight etc.

 

You forgot to mention his struggles with old fat El Terrible Morales in the first fight. One can only imagine what a prime Morales would do to Garcia.
