It's not gonna happen sadly, like they'd give a tool to stop their own corruption.

I knew he’d win rounds against Lomo and throw in a 10/8 round then you have a point but as a Linares fan I never seen him do enough against the relentless Lomo.
Still think Linares could go on to do more with what time he has left, maybe him and Mikey Garcia?

Garcia hits too hard... if he could make the weight again. He's such a fatass these days lol.

I think that Loma's style is so unusual that people are having trouble keeping track of his punches, and they assume that he's landing about 50% of what he throws. I agree with the compubox figures that show them landing 28 and 34 percent respectively, ultimately being separated only by 6 punches.

Linares is good, very good, but I just don't see him beating Mikey Garcia. Garcia has the kind of power and technique that would be a nightmare for him, worse than Lomachenko. He has maybe 3 more years of activity before he retires. He might take a belt off of Beltran or Easter in that time, but I think we've seen the best of him. Also, WBO basically dances to Uncle Bob's tune so Loma will get a shot at Beltran's WBO belt before him, which basically just leaves Easter, unless Garcia snaps that belt up too.

Then again the Loma loss might encourage Garcia's camp and they might give Linares a shot before fighting Loma. It would be interesting to see. I don't think we've seen Garcia in with anyone as technical as himself before. The way he struggled when Salido started to bully him makes me wonder how he handle's adversity; so I'd definitely like to see that fight.

*Oop, looks like Garcia just signed to fight with Easter. As per Chuck's new thread. No more betls for Linares.

I am against it in all sports.

I am also against the three-pointer in basketball, commercial breaks, pros in the Olympics and ped users.

That’s right. I said it. I’m looking right in your eyes....

I think it would just slow down the pace of the fight too much

If the ref re watched a head clash for example it’s still a decision that’s got to be made; some will agree some won’t

If the ref then has to talk to others (like they do in football in UK sometimes) it’s gonna take a few minutes ..

Just make judges and refs and promoters more accountable for their dodgy nonsense that’s going on

traveling in basketball is far worse than three pointers. they threw the rulebook away to suit jordan, back in the late eighties, early nineties.

IMO open RBR judging, five judges only three cards count. Judges cards with more than a four point difference than the mean average are disregarded, paid 50% of fee and subject to retraining / demotion to non championship events.

Like in NRL in aus, the ref should be able to call for a video referee if he’s unsure of a call

Yes, we need instant replay in boxing, but the powers-that-be in boxing do not want as they can cheat for the house fighter by called a knockdown and knockdown when it is a slip, or a slip a knockdown when it it a knockdown. Also, they can hide low blows, although that didn't work for SOB, as the fans knew he landed three low blows to the testicles, it gave the Nevada boxing commission the chance to say nothing about it, when it is clear on the video and still pictures......................it's time they disqualify SOB! This is what the powers that be in boxing did not want you to see, they pretend those low blows dd not happen! Hell, there is proof, and it should have been taken to court!

The boxing commission and Tony Weeks do not want you to see this evidence that would hold up in any court of law!
