Amen brother, I’ve noticed in pac and cocron fight he backs up in straight lines often with his hands down.

 

Enjoy this while it lasts, Hornistas. He soon will be sent back to the oblivion he lived in before the Pac robbery.

I agree. I didn't see him land a punch. Just like when he fought Pac.

I think you could get a sense of tempo & intensity from that clip.

One concern I do have is that I think it's a mistake that his last sparring session was in Australia.

Should have done his last week of sparring in Las Vegas to acclimatise properly.

He needs to produce that tempo & intensity in Las Vegas, not Brisbane.

Seeing fighters come out to Australia over many years & Australian fighters go overseas to fight, you do lose something (sometimes a lot) in the travel unless you get there well in advance & finish your preparation off with some decent sparring in the country you are going to fight in.

It doesn't need to be long, heavy sessions. But three or four short, sharp sparring sessions in that penultimate week before the fight is the way to go (imo).
