No, and why do people keep insisting on 15 round fights?

Do people want to see more deaths in the ring, ala Duk Koo Kim?

12 is fine, you can draw with any amount of rounds. You could make the fight 1 round and you can still draw.

The only thing even amount of rounds does is increases the chances of a draw and a draw is fine if the fight was really even.

Draws are fine, only the crooked judges need to disappear asap.

A draw is capable of being accurate to the history books.

Yes, but I would rather make it 11 rounds.

Avoiding draws at all costs is a pretty stupid goal.

Draws can happen at any distance. That said, 15 round title fights should be the norm. Same day weigh-ins would be nice too.

They score by points, not rounds, and you have even rounds, so there will still be draws.

You would have less draws with 13 round for sure. The number sort of fits boxing chaotic issues.

I'm okay with 12 rounds with good judging, but in the case of title unifications, why not 15 as an option?

I like the 13th round idea. 15 rounds would be better cause it would even out the playing field by giving the lesser-skilled though tough fighters with good stamina a better shot when facing the highly skilled fighters.

And since major fights are hardly televised on network TV that whole time frame aspect would not be a problem. The major stumbling block is the safety issue.

Why not go the whole way and go real old skool and have a fight to the finish, fail to come up to the scratch then you lose.
