    Yeah, the reason is that Floyd signed to fight Judah before Baldomir tapped that ass. Floyd vs Judah still went ahead with both men taking a pay cut.
    So the next logical step was Baldomir, who was the lineal welterweight champ.

    I'm no fan of Mayweather but I would liked to of seen him against Margarito or a Paul Williams two fighters who would push him to the brink imo.

    Its a shame Floyd went AWOL when 147 got hot.

    You guys who are proclaiming Floyd beats Margo easy need to explain why your idol LITERALLY c hit himself when he saw Tony walking up to him to politely ask "why wont you fight me" Floyd was terrified he blabbered like Daffy Duck . His goons had wandered off & he was unprotected LOL Its on U Tube for all to see. Neither Floyd nor Oscar had the stones to fight Tony but he had to be got rid of & out of the way. Hence the railroading. A guy Ive known for year was there saw it all he said Floyd was paranoid kept looking to see where Tony went
    Maidana beat Floyd up & roughed him up Just think what Tony would have done ???

    Maidana landed enough he beat Floyds ass but corruption got Floyd the bogus win. Take away Bob Bennett ,the NSAC, Usada & Vegas boxing officials & youre lefyt with a talented boxer with no cojones

    What is actually factually on that utube vid was fmj telling marg "you win a FEW fights, put a few wins together and we'll make it happen"
    Now what happened? Marg LOST again the very next fight or the 2nd fight after. You can't cherry pick a compete loser like marg. They (low level pros) have to put some wins together. AM couldn't get that part done, ever
