I just finished watching the fight against davis, and I started thinking remembering his fight with lebedev how good he could have been.

If he had been a professional I think he could have been the second best cruise assuming he had stayed for a while in the category. He had height, distance, punching, variety of punches, jab, speed of hit, a lot of skills. He beat Braithwaite, Arslan, Davis and Lebedev, also think that he could calmly have won at holyfield.

I could not see any of his defeats, but considering that he lost almost all of them due to a split decision and as a visitor, it would not surprise me to think that maybe he did not lose any of the four. What do you think?

I don't quite understand that either. Was Jones not a full time professional boxer for most of his career?

Maybe professional in attitude is what he meant?

apologize if my English is not entirely clear, I meant that he has not had a very active career especially at high points, beats lebedev and does not fight for 2 years the same with arslan just does not fight again for 1 year, I'm not sure if he had was don king who did not get him fights or who did not train correctly

The reason I say he could’ve been at ATG is that he could’ve won titles over four or five divisions.

I believe if he had not been robbed so many times and had been more active he would be the second cruise in the world

He was a very tough proposition for a lot of guys, big power, high workrate, a tricky style and an almost impregnable chin. But he was what he was. No one stopped him from fighting more than once a year or taking a less than professional attitude to his career.

More often than not fighters achieve what they are capable of achieving.
