Decent opponent, especially considering Bivol has only 12 pro fights. Chilemba was competitive against Kovalev, and was in a very close fight with Alvarez. The experience against a crafty defensive boxer like Chilemba will be good for Bivol.
Chilemba is a tricky opponent. Good defense for Bivol. I actually expect him to win in an impressive fashion, better than Kovalev and Alvarez.
Ive never heard of Chilemba winning against Kovalev. In fact, Kovalev may have battered the prime out of Chilemba as he took quite a bit of punishment in that fight
Chilemba gave a valiant effort but that was the most punishment I’ve seen him take in a fight and against a heavy hitter in Kovalev
Great news. Bivol was in serious negotiations with Aus SMW Bilal Akkawy. He is one my fav and this fight could have destroyed a very promising career.
Chilemba is a very tricky, awkward and capable customer but I think Bivol will beat the snot out of him. Bivol via late stoppage or wide UD. I'll be rocking a Bivol dressed in Elvis' white jumpsuit avatar for that fight.
Great fight. Bivol certainly looks the goods, but Chilemba can make opponents look bad. A great test.

Yep, the Kovalev vs Chilemba fight was close, but you can hardly make a case for Chilemba winning that somehow. Nothing controversial about it. Chilemba vs Alvarez though, I remember most people scoring that one for Chilemba.
