How accurate is this source? And what I said is certainly a good way to judge how big a fight is, especially when you are my age (24 turning 25) which is the demographic that matchroom try and target. Word of mouth is certainly a good indicator for how big a fight is. That is just common sense. This rematch had a quarter of the hype the first fight did. It isn't rocket science. Even the 02 wasn't sold out unlike the first fight - and that could have sold out possibly two 02s
That's from the official Barb ratings. The number will be very close to that. The margin of error will be minimal
I am not even lying, but all i had to do on the day of the fight was type in Haye-Bellew 2 Online Stream onto google and i found a workable, clear stream within 2 minutes...and it didnt pause ONCE. It's so easy to stream, yes for me Sky Broadband Shield might be a pain in the arse, but for BS PPV's like that it's warranted. I am hearing Whyte-Ortiz with Brook will be PPV aswell in July. It's a Joke, Hearn is a ultimate conman
That site is BS or info is wrong. I just put in the details of Haye-Bellew 1(March 2017) going by your logic it done 1.4M Buys...When Hearn quite clearly told us it done 700K.
Boxing Fans who subscribe to Sky Sports for Boxing as they are told on the offical Sky Sports Prospectus, should not be made to pay extra for Boxing. It's morally wrong and is deceitful. They dont tell you Joshua is only available to watch on Sky Sports Box Office, they dont tell you all the best fights are on PPV. It's the equivalent of putting all the Big Preimer League Games on PPV and making people pay extra when you state you get all Pl games as part of your Sports package
Going by that logic Joshua-Parker also done 1.5 PPV Buys. LOL people forget UK is a population of 65M. We're tiny. Seeing figures like that is just not feasible...
Clearly an error but they also have Bellew v Cleverly 2 at 385k and Eddie confirmed that did 300k buys so the margin of error was small for that fight
Hearn said Joshua did over 3 mil buys in his last three fights. Joshua v Wlad over 1 mil. Joshua v Takam and Joshua v Parker would mean that that Joshua v Parker must of done 1 mil or there abouts as it would of done more than the Takam fight
I thought you were paying £19.99, isn't that the standard fee until Eddie bumps it up to £24.99 after the AJ vs Wilder fight and then £29.99 if AJ ever faces Fury?
Does the average buyer just pay because its Sky and they think that means its quality? I have no idea but that's what UK fans around here and on twitter seem to think? From what I have seen if you put it on Boxnation PPV or ITV PPV you would instantly lose 2/3 of the market
