    A lot of people say it's all smokescreen and that Canelo will face Spike in the end. Will they be proven right?

    I don't know who thought Canelo was ducking them. The best two MWs were Trout and Lara, in fact I had Trout edging Charlo.

    With that said I would make Canelo a favorite against Charlo but I don't count Jermall out at all, he seems very talented and skilled.

    It can easily happen if Hearn/Jacobs try to overprice themselves.

    Promoting a Canelo vs Jacobs PPV is a lot more feasible than promoting a Charlo matchup, simply because you promote it from the angle that quite a few "boxing experts" had Jacobs beating Golovkin.

    For a PPV to be successful, you have to have promotable opponents.
    Not enough non-boxing fans recognize the name Charlo so its highly doubtable that GBP would pick a risky opponent like Charlo when the promoting angle isn't as easy as promoting Jacobs as the opponent.

    Why shouldn't Spike be a consideration if all the other leading contenders overprice themselves. GGG seems to be out, there's a good chance Hearn might overplay his cards thinking that Jacobs might be Canelo's only viable opponents and who knows what's going on with Saunders.

    Plus, Spike is a more credible opponent than Martirosyan.

    Jacobs is certainly better than Zombie Chavez, Khan, or Kirkland.

    Oh who are we kidding, the opponent will be Spike. He turned down GGG for a reason. DLH is becoming Arum with heels.

    He ain't fighting jabobs. Dlhy just using his name, underprice him and say everyone's ducking canelo.
    Then have a easy tune up n fight GGG next year, cinco de mayo.
