Its probably gonna be in between 60/40 and 55/45 to make the fight. I believe they both want it. And you know Jacobs isnt going to fight Canelo for cheap. I do believe the fight is going to get made. Jacobs will probably fight Charlo.

Golovkin, please fight either Saunders, Charlo, Derevyanchenko, Murata or even Andrade. 160 is quite stacked nowadays, and enough good fights to be made there.

 

Canelo should budge more on money but he has a very large fan base in Mexico and knows he could fight a scrub like Spike and still make 5 to 10 million.

 

Now Oscar should play it like "Oh, Golovkin has only one belt... I'm not sure we're interested in this fight anymore... Maybe 70/30 split..."

 

This is so true. Neither man has a real legacy win. Canelo's best is maybe Cotto? Golovkin's is maybe Jacobs? In terms of records GGG's is severely lacking IMO.

Canelo has more time to go on and cement a legacy, but he also already has a conclusive loss on his record, many think he lost the GGG fight and he got banned for failing 2 drugs tests. In my eyes his legacy will be harmed badly by not re-matching GGG.

As the Gypsy King said about Wilder-AJ, these guys are already rich beyond belief. Another 5 mil either way isn't gonna change their lives. They need to stop caring so much about $$$ and start caring about legacy.

Golovkin beat El Pollo in the first fight, Oscar not only wants all the money, he also insists on his judges, referee, boxing commission and Hopkins indicated that El Pollo will go to the testicles like SOB, yes, he said that El Pollo will go low......................I guess Tony Weeks will be the referee, so when El Pollo lands a blow to the testicles, Weeks will stop the fight, TKO by testicle blow! That is their plan, just like SOB! Golovkin deserves money for the fight since he won the first one, plus he will have to fight El Pollo, the referee, judges, boxing commission, and Bob Bennett will be El Pollo's cheerleader, plus now the WBC is praising El Pollo for testing positive for PEDS!

 

Canelo has no where to run, Ggg, Jacobs, Charlo all good opponents. Lemmy and Spike are c-level fighters.
