Hearn talks so much **** its unreal. Being in the UK and having to deal with the skysports hype is unbearable the UK is full of casual fans who Eddie Hearn loves to brainwash. Seriously the British public will buy any fight if skysport hype it.

It just feels weird the fight is in July, only seven weeks away?

Something fishy about this, I'll be pumped if the fight happens but seems a lil off.

Did he say it’s the biggest fight in the HW division or in all of boxing? To be fair outside of Joshua vs wilder, that is the biggest heavyweight clash made atm.

The funny thing is is that this non title fight will make heaps more in the UK than Wilder vs Breazeale title fight in the US.

So true. I love that boxing is mainstream again, but the knowledge of the casual is woeful right now. Just today I had a random **** explain to me how Whyte-Parker is a 50-50 that will decide who is the 2nd best in the division.

Warren was always full of sheet in the 90's, but Hearn's BS level is unprecedented. It's then compounded like never before by Skysports News, YouTube Interviews, and the traditional Murdoch tabloids relentlessly spraying his BS at the common man from all angles. For example, the average UK boxing fan genuinely believe all the following to be true:

    - Dillian Whyte is the most feared man in boxing
    - Hearn rejected Tyson Fury
    - All US fighters make F-all money
    - Wilder is ducking and scared
    - Amir Khan is back to his best
    - Al Haymon is broke
    - Hearn has a $1bn deal with DAZN
    - Hearn is taking over the US Boxing scene
    - Josh Kelly is a future ATG
    - Selling out Wembley Stadium is the pinnacle of boxing success
    - Laurence Okolie isn't hated by everyone everywhere
    - Skysports are the biggest force in world boxing
    - All Hearn's cards are stacked with 50-50 fights
    - Joshua Buatsi is the most dangerous LHW on the planet
    - Hearn genuinely respects AJ and sees him as a partner
    - Fighting in Vegas in US PPV events doesn't make financial sense
    - Kell Brook merks Errol Spence at 154

Now this is just the BS he has been talking in the past 8 or so weeks. As much as I hate Fish Eyes, I'm genuinely rooting for him to succeed purely to slow down the Skysports-Matchroom BS juggernaut that's riding the UK casuals raw.

If you think I'm just a hater or using any hyperbole, please read the two posts before this one again. If you find yourself agreeing with them, I'm afraid it may be too late for you.

So what is the highest profile fight outside of AJ and Wilder?

    Any fight involving The Mac
    Any Fight involving AJ
    Any Fight Involving Wilder

Outside of the UK and New Zealand, nobody at all knows or cares about Whyte or Parker. In the UK it's one of the least PPV worthy fights of recent times. That's why Big Fat Poof Eddie is in supreme BS mode trying to get mugs like you to literally buy into it.

You have heard of them, which completely disproves your own idiotic statement.

Credit to both the fans and Sky.
Whats wrong with fans watching the sport and whats wrong with Sky hyping up fights?
And what other big HW fight is there on the horizon at the moment?
Joshua and Wilder have yet to sign anything. Fury is making his comeback against a nobody.
Whyte vs Parker really is a blockbuster event(if Eddie does stack the card).

I think that would be Joshua vs Povetkin as a pretty solid #2.

You're lost friend. You crap on Mares-Santa Cruz II saying it won't get 500k viewers, but the same day you say, "Whyte vs Parker really is a blockbuster event". I just hope it doesn't hit you too hard when you eventually realise Matchroom and Sky are not the deities you previously thought.

Errghh, I think that’s abit of a mismatch Joshua would stop Povetkin but you are probably right. This is 50/50 fight plus I think Eddy might mean a fight not involving Wilder or AJ.

Eddie Hearn clearly has his promoters hat on here lol, it's a good match up but Whyte/Ortiz would of been a more dangerous fight with Ortiz's power. But both Ortiz and Parker are coming off loses in title fights against the 2 best in the division so it's a comparable fight in terms of quality. It's a risky fight for Whyte but financially I guess it makes more sense as they have high profiles in the UK.

Hearn clearly not happy with the outcome of the 2 mandatory fights for Whyte and so has basically stuck 2 fingers up and the sanctioning bodies. He was denied his attempt to change the purse split by the IBF and denied the right for Whyte/Ortiz to be made a real final eliminator.

Also lol at the IBF this is the 3rd eliminator they've mandated for Pulev, first was Breazeale who chose to fight Wilder, then Miller who wasn't interested and now Whyte has pulled out. Clearly nobody gives a damn about fighting Pulev, too much risk and too little reward. Is anyone going to want to fight Pulev in a mandated bout for just 25%, I think not.

I know nothing of Sky but i know Matchroom is good at what they are doing(No, Eddie nor Mathroom are a deity in my eyes).
I crap on Cruz-Mares II because it has had little promotion and SHO ratings are in the gutter.
Whyte-Parker will be a blockbuster event because:
    a) Eddie Hearn has won over the casual fans.
    b) Sky will push hard for the promotion to succeed.

In the end one event will deliver PPV buys and the other will do lackluster ratings.

I had to go on BoxRec to find out who promotes the Cruz-Marez II card. It his handled by TGB promotions.
They barely put together a fight poster.
In the last two months, they have mentioned the fight only 4 times on their twitter.
TGB Facebook was last updated in March(not that they ever posted anything at all).
The homepage still features Brandon Rios vs Aaron Herrera as an upcoming event.
They are relying on SHO to push the fight.
