I was pumped when it looked like Whyte - Ortiz would be made. Was going to book tickets. Now I'm not so sure. Parker - Whyte could be a potential stinker. Whyte needs an opponent who will stand and trade with him. Browne did it, Ortiz would have done it (more successfully than Browne). But Parker won't.

And remember, Parkers last 2 fights have been stinkers. Against Fury and AJ there was little to no entertainment. I feel this fight could go the same way, with Parker not engaging and instead throwing pity shots from the outside.

    Anyone think otherwise ?

Na I dont think Parker will run as much as he did v AJ. Also with it being over here in the UK Parker will no doubt feel he will need to be more on top to take a decision. This could be another Whyte/Chisora affair.

I think both fighters will fancy their chances so will both be willing to engage a lot. Dillian Whyte only really knows one way, he hasn’t got a defensive tactic. I think it could well be a stinker but I’ve got a feeling we could be treated to a great fight. Two top heavyweights going at it.

I don't see the rationale behind this myself. Fury ran away all night ,Whyte will be coming forward.Whyte is more Parker's size than AJ was, I think he will adopt both box and punch tactics.

I predicted Whyte-Chisora would be a stinker and it ended up being one of the greatest HW bouts since 2000.

Both guys need to win really, and Parker knows he has to force the action to win the fight. I actually think we'll see Whyte box on the backfoot and it will be Parker going for the kill.

Think it really depends on how Parker wants to play it.

He boxed and moved in his last fight and AJ at times was getting frustrated, often not being able to land any clean telling shots. If that's the case for AJ then Whyte will have the same problem.

But if Parker does choose to plant his feet and move forward at times, we could be in for a real good fight. He was chinning lower tier opposition, but we haven't really seen him do that since he's stepped it up in level.

Do love Whyte's mentality though, the guy just wants to fight and will take on anyone.

I’m a massive AJ fan but I thought he weren’t as willing to engage as in previous fights too. Dillian will engage and so will Parker as he will surely fancy his chances.

I do agree with you on the rest!

I think you might be right. However, it is a good fight. Parker should win and I'm praying he does - I can't stand the self entitled Dillian Whyte and his delusional semi casual IFL viewing fans.

Though Parker said something that had me worried today. He said he's only gonna have a 5week camp?? That's not enough.

Don't think I have seen Parker in an entertaining fight and his last 2 against Hughie The Skirt Fury and Joshua were certainly stinkers that rogered the PPV mugs.

I would expect Whyte to take him out early or another pongfest is in store.

He wants to fight anyone apart from Chisora, Ortiz and seemingly Pulev, who he said was messing about which is nonsense.

He also says he will fight anyone and then the next minute he says the money has to be right, which of course is natural, but he is meaning crazy money (eg Chisora) that he simply doesn't deserve for losing to a shot Chisora, labouring to wins over Dave Allen and Ian lewison and knocking out Lucas Browne 10 days after Chisora KO'd him in sparring.

Ahhhh I can't stand the guy. He was saying he would be embarrassed if he fought someone on the level of Fury's opponent, yet on his American Debut he fought f*cking Malcolm Tann after his original opponent in the form of Michael Grant was so badly criticised. And today he's claiming on IFL that he's a PPV fighter. F*uck off you bully.

    Ahhhh, apologies!
