    I'd be surprised if there was a rehydration clause, both will come in at LHW(168.1-175.0) if not at cruiser (175.1+).

    Anyone who claims Jacobs is being short-changed with that offer is simply clueless.

    A little perspective here:

    Chavez Jr purse vs Canelo was 3 Mill.
    Khan's purse vs Canelo was 2 mill.
    Canelos purse vs FLoyd was 5 mill.
    Cotto's purse vs FLoyd was 8 Mill. .....just to name a few.

    All these guys were considered bigger names and had a bigger following than Jacobs.

    Jacob's claim to fame is doing pretty good vs GGG.

    It's a damn good offer and one that he will more than likely never see again.

    Those are all just the guarantees. Once the full gate, TV & ppv money came the fighters you mentioned made a lot more money.

    I don't know the exact number for Chavez Jr, but I believe he got about 20%
    Khan ended up with more like 10 million
    Canelo got at least 4 times that against Floyd in the end.
    Cotto got 35% against Floyd overall.

    Your point actually still stands (although it's somewhat overstated), but I'm a stickler for accuracy hence the corrections above.

    Im sure Canelo was the A side. Thats just the price Canelo had to pay to get Cotto to agree to fight him.
