    Exactly.

For what it's worth, I think they should also be able to score 9-9, or 8-8, if neither fighter does **** for the entire 3 minutes. Imagine Wlad - Fury with this system. It would have been about 97 - 95 at the end!

No they should just factor in things like this if it all finishes even on the judge's cards

Quality, stylishness, and the colour coordination of the fighter's ring attire

Which of the fighters had the better entrance music

Which of the fighters held or ran less, or didn't do either at all

Which fighter grunted less when they punched, or which of them didn't grunt at all

Which of them is a have gloves, won't travel, filthy dirty, serial cheating, loaded dice rolling deck-stacking diva faux Christian coward who refuses to fight on a playing field that isn't heavily weighted in their favour and says no to neutral judges and needs every single advantage in their favour before they will even contemplate signing on the dotted line and which of them isn't

Maybe they should just fight to the death.

Only if it's a draw after 12. Having one overtime round would be badass.

    Otherwise, just keep it 12.

I think the WBA or NABF had it when there is a draw, they fight another round to pick a winner, which I don't know if I agree with since that is bending a result or squeezing a result out of what happened. Draws are ok.

bring in an extra round and watch the excitement. K1 had this platform and it really brought drama to it. however, K1 had 3R + 1 extra R, having two guys bash their brain for 12 rounds plus 1 more could be dangerous ...

They should do what K-1 used to do with kickboxing. If after the distance it is too close to call, have the sudden death overtime round. Winner take all. It made for some great fights.
