Mike Tyson would probably clean them both up before lunch.

Lunch being his famous cheese sandwich:

Looking at Jeffries on film the only clips we have of him looking pro active instead of re-active are against Ruhlin, where he forces the pace, plodding though it may be. Jeffries looks very open to right hands in the footage and Max had a fine one, could he weather the German's power and keep on coming?Like a lot of these across the eras matches the ruleset is often extremely important ,we know Jeffries would have been stopped against Fitz in their second fight his face was a ghastly mess of lacerations and blood. If he fought Schmeling under 30's rules would the third man have been more squeamish?Would he have allowed Jeffries the leeway he had to lay his weight on opponents as he did against Sharkey and co?
I'm inclined to go for Jeffries but with that reservation.

Yep that s true ,a fair bit depends on what era they fight in .I have s strong feeling that max could do this .A little to active ,good jab and a crunching jab .If its a 15 round I'll go max by wide points. The old time length of 25 and over may be better for Jeffrey though.
