I only saw one at least two guys really outboxing Wilder and that was Washington and from time to time Szpilka. But not in the way Ortiz did. Ortiz absolutely dominated the fight in the first four rounds, would have won round 5 too but was knocked down so 8-10 rounds and then lost round six to recover but stepped up his level in round7+8 while round 9 was competitive and he was stopped in the tenth. Can't see a badly gassed out Ortiz here.

Parker is a tough matchup for Ortiz. I agree, this is close and Parker has a decent chance to win in that kind of matchup. I never denied that. Miller is also a tough nut, but he is too easy to hit and Ortiz probably would take him out at one point, Miller is too slow imo. But Brezeale? No way Brezeale has a chance. Brezeale is nothing special.

It's a shame that we won't see Whyte vs Ortiz. I would love to see the result no matter if it comes like i said.

and lets be honest, if Wilder was battering Ortiz the same way that Ortiz was battering Wilder in that round where Wilder was out on his feet, the fight would've been stopped.

    Definitely.

I also can not believe in the "gassing out" theory because a guy who is badly gassing out after 5-6 rounds won't recover like that from a bad knockdown in the fifth round.

Never heard anybody say he's world class. He will fight anybody which you have to give him credit for.

    Check on Twitter mate.

How can you say he'll fight everybody? Pulled out of the Wach fight, demanded 1Mil to rematch washed Chisora and he's now swerved Ortiz for a shot at Wilder which he claimed to really want. The whole "he'll fight anybody" notion is a total myth

Swerved Ortiz to fight Parker, and you say that's a duck. Come on pal.

Rematching Chisora will not elevate his career, hes just not relevant anymore. Same as facing Wach.

I wouldn't call somebody out for ducking who has faced one of the top 3 in the division in Joshua, called out Wilder with real in intent to fight and who is currently preparing to face Parker. I'm not a fan of his but I enjoy watching him fight and he is game.

It is. He was mandated to fight Ortiz and chose Parker instead, which is an easier fight (IMO). If he wasn't scared of fighting Ortiz, why did he choose Parker instead? This isn't an eliminator for a belt like the Ortiz is or even like the Pulev fight was. AJ wasn't in the top 3 when he fought him either. If his intent to fight Wilder was legit (and not just a plot by Hearn to keep him away from AJ) then surely he'd just fight Ortiz so that he's properly mandated by the WBC?

Chisora may not be relevant, but most feel he lost that fight and he could have corrected that. But he instead fought Tann and then Helenius...

You make a strong case. And Hearn has somehow managed to get Parker to agree to a very short camp, and this for someone who does let himself go between bouts. Furthermore.... did Whyte start his camp a few week's ago in the knowledge Parker was his likely opponent, with Pulev being the cover story?

You guys are right, i was wrong, but not about Whyte, i was wrong about Parker.

And let's be clear here: Whyte was nearly stopped in the last round as Parker started to FIGHT.

My first posting in that topic still is a strong case based on some arguments. You guys can't deal with that tbh.
