Why you think Jacobs has a chance to win is beyond me. He's was beaten by both the decent fighters he's been in the ring with. Beating Mora and Quillin is no marker as to how he'd do against Canelo.

You're clearly an idiot. By saying he doesn't deserve a percentage I'm not saying Jacobs must fight for free you utter nob.

Jacobs should get what he deserves. IMO that's 1-2 million flat. He has no fanbase, he adds no numbers to the PPV, sells no tickets, etc.

Heck GGG gave Danny a bigger cut and he had BELTS on the line to boot for Danny.
DJ should counter with 45/55 and let’s all watch Oscar digress back to fishnets and piles of blow

This is why all fights should be winner takes all except for expenses. Trainers, managers, sparring/training expenses get paid, post fight medical gets paid, travelling, lodging, hookers get paid.

But the winner gets every thing else. Then we wouldn't have the need for promoters and boxing INSTANTLY becomes a cleaner sport.

He's the biggest draw in the sport, currently.

wow. With GGG, I still do not see how he is far above GGG for them to warrant asking for so much more. I guess that is how it works. I think Oscar has been terrible as a promoter..

I'm not sure. Been reading so many posts while muti tasking at work. Regardless its all but confirmed.

Jacobs should take the fight if he's confident, beating Canelo will do wonders for his career.

For comparison, Canelo did one million buys against Chavez and GGG did 170k against Jacobs. GGG needs to accept a number smaller than 45.

AH hasn’t even had an American PPV yet though.

UK PPV is way cheaper than in America so it’s not the same game.

well, Chavez is a big draw also because of his father. Jacobs was not that well known until he gave GGG a good fight.

I have little doubt that Canelo wouldve pulled similar numbers if he fought Jacobs.

He did 900 for Cotto and 600 for Khan.

    Ggg did 150 for Lemiuex.

I am not sure. Not Jacobs. Jacobs is not close to Khan who has a big internation backing or Cotto, who won 4 titles and was known for years.

He’d do better than Khan, especially for Cinco de Mayo. Everyone knew Khan was a joke. Jacobs would be a threat and Canelo does bigger numbers now than back then anyway.
