Man this is a tough day for Australia.

Once again our boxers fall short of winning a big fight in America.

I thought I saw something in Horn that I just guess wasn't there.

    FU*K man. FU*K.

Alright guys, let me have it..

He just came across someone better. You backed your guy as you should. Nothing to be ashamed of. He just isnt on crawfords level but i dont think there is a guy that can beat crawford at WW.

It's a huge ask to expect someone who comes from a country, albeit a proud and great sporting nation, that has such a poor boxing scene to win at this level against a top talent who comes from a great boxing nation. Horn hadn't been taught the first thing about how to defend himself, let alone to fight properly. He only beat Manny because Manny is way past his best and he was fighting on a playing field that was heavily rigged in his favour where he was allowed to get away with an awful lot of naughty stuff. Australia punches well above it's weight as a sporting nation but they have little interest in boxing as a participant sport and they just don't have the infrastructure, the trainers, the sparring, experience etc. to do well at boxing yet.

At least you have the heart to take it after you talked smack.
I kept telling you Horn was overrated and he got destroyed.
If Horn is smart try to rematch PAC and then call it a day.

I'm almost confused by Horns fighting style now. The thing I noticed most was that when he rushes in, his not timing the distance well at all. He throws half a punch and then falls into a clinch. I'm sitting there watching thinking, what is the point of rushing in head first to just miss a punch and go into the clinch.

I said previously that Bud is going to be in a position that Broner was where his coach was only able to take him so far and would be exposed in an elite fight, and will have to look for a new training to change things up. But it's the complete other way round. Rushton is being shown to not be the boxing trainer he is meant to be. Rushton has been a great father figure, life coach, and motivator for Horn. But Horn will never be a legitimate consistent world champion under Rushton. Their game plan and fighting style did not make any sense at all. I know everyone knew Horn fought like this and said it was garbage, but I thought he was going to evolve. He fought the way he needed to against pacquiao to win that particular fight, obviously they thought the exact same thing would work. I expected Horn to at least be able to find his range.

And it's obvious his determination can only take him so far. He does have limited skill, and absolutely does not have the punching power he needs to do well in this division. I see all those things clearly now. This fight took me out of the bubble, I think all us Australians were in. We just wanted one damn time to win a big fight in America on the world stage.

I will always respect Horn for working as hard as he did to even get here, I know Teddy Atlas is smiling somewhere but fu*k him. Horn is our people's champion.

That's the difference when you beat up an old past his prime boxer then you meet a boxer in his prime.
He couldn't get away with that stuff vs someone whose reflexes aren't shot.

I don't really have a lot of respect for Horn.
Jeff Fenech. Jeff Harding .Johnny Famechon etc Horn isn't even CLOSE to being with that group.

My prediction was this fight that Horn will try his roughhousing. I told you don't be surprised if Crawford can hold his own on the inside and his body shots would have Horn cautious. But one thing i underestimated was how tough Horn is. Or is Crawford's power overrated at welterweight? I was expecting Horn to go down around 3 to 6 rounds.
