    I wouldn't say it's becoming a dominant performance, but it is beginning to be one-sided.
    Santa Cruz could make this an easy boring fight if he wants, but he like he showed in those last 10 seconds, he's willing to take some risks and have some fun. It's looking like Santa Cruz's risk taking is Mares only chance.

    Mares made it more interesting this round. Forced his way inside. Not sure he landed more or even outworked Santa Cruz, but just based on forcing his will, I'll give it to Mares.

    Santa Cruz took it back outside for the first half of this round. Don't agree with announcers that Mares won the exchanges so easily. Santa Cruz won it. The cut is a non factor.
