I don’t mean to dismiss his win because it was one of the best British wins of all time. It really was. At the same time though that was the worst Klitschko possible. The one who came back and fought AJ with the bit between his teeth stops Fury.

MY first impression was he’s finished too much bad living he will never get back to the high of the Wlad fight but he might prove me wrong

Absolutely there is no way back to the top after being out for 1,000 days and eating/drinking/snorting his way up to 27 stones.

The drugs cheat should have been banned for life anyway.

Im not going to take too much away from last night.
What tyson should of done is put on a exhibition last night, get some rds in whilst showcasing his skills, to let us know that hes really back and that we should take him serious.
That was a joke last night, he made himself look silly. It was a farce.
So far the mac is definatly not back,
Lets see if he does any better next time out

maybe in hindsight he should have had another 6 months losing another 2 stone and come back against a better level opponent. That has done nothing for him at all. He has rushed coming back, it doesnt seem 2 minutes ago he was 27 stone.

H.Fury looks levels above him at this point, in fact on this showing hes the more likely fury to be getting a world title any time soon.

However lets not right him off but he has to go away and get a lot more serious.

Frampton is two odd months away. Realistically, how much more weight can he drop and how much can his conditioning improve between now and then? Not hugely. Last night was proof you can be clinically obese & still be called a professional sportsman.

He was on about a world title fight before the end of the year. No chance. However, he also mentioned how being back in training is helping his mental health. Maybe he thinks he might be as well picking up a few quid along the way.

I don't think anything at all can be taken from Fury's performance last night. It was an exercise to just get him out under the lights in front of a crowd again (Saunders basically said this was the case after the fight). After the next couple of fights then I think we will be able to gauge where he is and IF he will ever be at the top table again.

I agree. This is what needs to happen but BT and Frank NEED him to be he lineal world champion. They NEED him to be back as some imaginary king. They are ramping up expectations, letting him headline shows against midgets when there’s a world title fight in another bout. He needs to stop chatting pony about what he would do to AJ/Wilder/Bellew too.

In short they need to drop this imaginary tag, get him out every two months until Christmas then step it up come March and just let him plod on quietly on the undercard of some real fights.

I don't think Fury's ego is going to allow that to happen. He is no different to Haye, cannot wait realistically for a complete rehabilitation and resents the other top heavies receiving the limelight. This is why he can't keep his mouth shut and stop whoring himself to the media and his fanboys every minute talking about what he is going to do to the likes of Wilder, Joshua and co.
