Mr. Shawn Kemp, anybody--that would mean you, in this case--who is so unintelligent as to mock the power of Rocky Marciano should never speak, write or communicate the phrase "intelligent people" in a sentence, in any language. Marciano had one-punch KO power in each hand and none other than Joe Louis stated that no one hit him harder than Marciano hit him--not Max Schmeling, not Max Baer, not Jersey Joe Walcott and not Ezzard Charles. Marciano knocked out 43 true heavyweights. Marciano put Carmine Vingo, who was an up and coming heavyweight contender until he fought Marciano, in a coma. In a coma. How many heavyweights can you list who put another heavyweight in a coma? Good luck with that. Marciano knocked Archie Moore down five times and did KO him--Archie Moore had defeated every top-ranked HW contenter, #1-#4, in order to earn his title fight with Marciano. And Archie Moore is widely-regarded as one of the best counter-punchers in history, and also an excellent KO artist. I would go down the list of all the HW fighters that Marciano knocked out who were over 200 pounds and over 6 feet tall but given that none other than Joe Louis stated for a fact that nobody hit him as hard as Marciano hit him, there's no need to argue. In closing, Muhammad Ali, who went 76 one-minute rounds with Marciano for the "Computer Fight," stated that no one hit him with body shots like Marciano hit him, and it is fact that Marciano dropped Ali with a left hook to the body. Has very good power for 185lb. I think his stamina and workrate made him special, throwing that hard punches round after round.

For the big boy class of the last decades, his power isn´t that special.

If Marciano couldn't hit hard then I'm at a complete loss to explain how he managed to win his fights.

This is true but it needs to be tested against the giants to see how they react to it doesn't it? We know for example that Langford and Fitzsimmons could and did ko quality prime men many pounds above them .
Can the same be said for Rocky?
