Trying to be an idiot? We are talking about heavier men punching harder. Don´t want any pattern and stay in hero fapping fantasy land, puzzling resumes in the way you want?
I have something for you out of the real world of physics.
Why do I always have to argue about nonsense with you and choklab about secondary school knowledge? Why are you guys trying to play that dumb? Thats when the troll stuff has to come in mind.

    http://bjsm.bmj.com/content/39/10/710

"Punch force was higher for the heavier weight classes, due primarily to a higher effective mass of the punch....

The average peak force was 2625 (SD 543) N for the middleweight boxer and 4345 (SD 280) N for the super heavyweights.....

The boxers’ hand velocity was 9.14 (SD 2.06) m/s and had no significant correlation with the weight of the boxer, peak force, or severity of the punch...."

Heavys literally punch twice as hard. Considering heavier necks and heads, impact force to bigger men is even reduced. In other worlds: Big men can take a better punch, or the power of your yesterday heros can hardly be compared to big men.

Since youre stuck to v² : There is no correleation bewteen reach and power, but there might be some for the end velocity throwing a straightened like Wilder does, which is basically where he generates power from.

I don´t find the paper for the hook beeing the strongest. Yes you can add the cross. Check Foreman and Tyson hitting the heavybag, its rotational momentum leading to power.

But then what about someone like Joe Walcott who is one of the P4P biggest punchers ever, and he was super short for the weight and built like a tank?

Walcott beeing on of the biggest P4P punchers? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey_Joe_Walcott

If you ask me: Very solid punchers don´t have tons of "PTS", "MD", "SD" or "UD" wins in their resumes...

I know that a lot of people here don't trouble themselves with the finer points of boxing history, or the lower weight classes, but come on!

Barbados Joe Walcott was not only the first famous fighter to carry the name, but also the most historically significant.

Many people considered him to be the GOAT at welterweight, before Sugar Ray Robinson came along!

You accuse me of Dempsey hate, your Marciano hate is unlimited

Also Get your info correct, moore was 38 not 40. Secondly, Moore proved he could defeat large world class heavyweights like baker and Valdes, while Foster proved he could not. Moore was the mandatory number 1 heavyweight contender in the world. If a black fighter who accomplished as much as was around during Dempsey’s reign, Dempsey would have avoided him!

You defend him against a 168lb fighter? Oh how thoughtful of you. Where do you think that deserved place is tough guy?
You admit when he loses? Oh I see, because you know who he could and could not beat based on YOUR opinion.

I hate Dempsey because I rate him 13th all time on my heavyweight list instead of top 10? Yeah you make a lot of sense

Do you ever admit when Dempsey loses or does it cause you too much pain?

TBH I'm more amazed by people's apparent inability to look things up.

Plus apartantly Rocky was wrong when he called Jersey Joe the hardest puncher he fought, if only he had boxrec he'd have known better.
