I think what we're talking about is which win is better; Bud TKO9 Horn or Loma TKO10 Linares, isn't it? Imo Loma's win is the better of the two. Seems like you consider Horn a better fighter than Linares and that you base it on Horn's "win" over Pac. I completely disagree that Horn is a better fighter than Linares and I give little to no credit for Horn's "win" over Pacquiao. Finally, I never, EVER, had Pac as no1 WW, so don't give me any smarmy BS about revisionist history.

Bud Crawford is my favorite active fighter. You could call me a Budbot and not be far off, but I think Loma's most recent victory was more impressive than Bud (much as I'm his fan) beating up a punching bag. A likeable and durable punching bag to be sure, but a punching bag.

It’s salido style. GRJ fights nothing like Salido. Martinez fights nothing like Lomachenko. Yeah certain things were inexperience like Loma crying to the ref but no matter what version of Lomachenko turns up the Salido that turned up that night gives him trouble.

There is a reason why Loma and his team never pursued that fight seriously, it’s kinda like Ali vs Norton or mMarquez vs Pacquiao, sometimes in life you meet someone who’s style doesn’t mesh well with yours head to head. I just even if they met up later and Loma beat him it would never be an easy fight.

This. Loma has been carefully matched ever since to avoid pressure fighters, since he has no answer to a good pressure fighter. Constant pressure, body punches, and cutting the ring off allowed Salido to completely neutralize Loma. Salido easily won 7-8 rounds. Loma only picked 4-5 rounds later in the fight when Salido started tiring due to age.

How can you say you give little to no credit to the win? You can say you don’t like the style or don’t think won it fairly but to not give a 5/1 underdog credit for scoring an upset is bizarre.

Lomachenkos win was impressive but he had to go through the trenches for it which was what also I like about it but it showed he is close to his max now. bud didnt sweat and that’s why I appreciate that performance.

And therein lies the big difference when comparing Loma and Crawford's skill levels. Loma is flashier than Crawford but that's about it. Crawford beat Horn at everything he attempted, muscling, boxing, fighting, meanness, and whatever else he wanted to do. Loma has to box and that's why Salido beat him and that's why he beat Russel and Linares. Crawford is more versatile than Loma.

Loma is definitely more a pure boxer, Crawford has more versatility.

What about when all those guys retired and or moved up or down, who was in those divisions then, within this decade?

You can't criticise Crawford because he did what he had to do and won very well.

I want Crawford to fight Spence Jr, then we will see just how good Crawford really is.
