He's a decent MMA fighter, just not on the level that is expected in the UFC.
The only reason he's fighting in UFC is because off his fame as a wrestler.

Dude. He's at a lower level than a bar room brawler or a highschool kid. That was a truly pathetic display

He never had much of a career in the sport to begin with.

White says he's gone from UFC. So long for the MMA career for Mr Brooks.

4 years training and he looks so bad. Honestly don't understand how he he can look like a guy who has no idea what he is doing.

I dunno where CM punk goes from here. Don't think New Japan pro wrestling is an option. New Japan will have a hell of a job building him up as a credible championship contender. All of his credibility totally gone

If anything, Jackson comes out of this with even less credibility than Punk: Jackson -- a fighter who is supposed to have some Muay Thai and Kickboxing experience -- couldn't knock down or get the finish against an opponent who was, for all intents and purposes, a famous UFC fan competing on a UFC PPV.

Jack supposedly had some amateur boxing experience as well. I can see it a little I guess.... Looked like he held back a bit tbh. Some have suggested he bet on himself winning by decision.

Yeah Jackson looked terrible. Punk looked like a guy UFC pulled out the crowd and said let's see how you get on.

We even surmised during the RBR -- only half-jokingly -- that Dana pulled Jackson to one side at some point during the build-up and essentially requested that Jackson carry Punk the distance. That really is how it looked at the time.

That's exactly how it looked and seemed!

And UFC did it not once, but twice with CM Punk. At least Tommy Morrison only did it that one time.

Really shows how arrogant the bloke is I suppose. He's been training 4 years fulltime at a high quality camp with great training partners and no expense given and that is his skill level ? He is pathetic both stand up and ground work. Surely he is self aware enough to have known this ? Maybe he is one of those people who have no self awareness. I don't want anyone to say "gee he has heart" etc etc. He was paid millions for those 2 ufc fights and he produced garbage. Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if some men on mma boards who are young and train regularly/for fun etc etc could possibly beat him he was that bad.
