Monzon at 160 will struggle against the greats especially when they're all a minimum of 15 pounds heavier than him.

If a huge middleweight great like Monzon would "struggle" at 175, I'd love to hear which middleweight people would think does well bumping up to 175

Jones was a middleweight world champion who beat Hopkins (admittedly green but still) for the title. He also had a devastating KO defending that title.

And? What do you mean with that? Peak roy jones was a 168 pounder and it is a fact plus he was champion also at 175

You asked for middleweights who could move to light heavyweight effectively. I mentioned RJJ, who was middleweight champion and then had a long run at 175 as champ.

So it doesn’t count if he fought at super middle in between?

    Don’t act like an idiot.

And? What else could you possibly want? He was a middleweight world champion. The guy ended up at 175 and was also a great fighter at that weight.

There is nothing saying Jones would not have been able to make 160 for plenty of time thereafter if he so chose. He went after heavier fish and continued to do so all the way to heavyweight.

what the hell are you talking about changing the topic? Who is debating if he was great or not?
We SAW HIM IN HIS PEAK ABOVE 160 , so he is not an example of a peak fighter at 160 pounds (that never moved up) trying in 175 in a fantasy match.
And not he would not be capable to make 160 during all his carreer if he could he would have done so it is a nonsense, he never was a guy who liked eating like a pig neither, he made 160 in his early carrer just like patterson and holyfield were lighter early in their careers. Not only he was in his peak at 168 but he was heavier in the ring, he is not a valid example here, monzón was in his peak a 160 pounder and he weighed 160 in the ring so he is a better example to use in this fantasy thread with jones it has no merit because he was a lhw in the ring

Changing the topic? Can you not follow?

Where did Suzie state all this extra nonsense you have added? Where did he demand a fighter that HAD TO peak at 160?

Now if Jones had lost at 160 or not won a WORLD TITLE there i would not have mentioned him.

How would you know? The guy loved a challenge and kept moving north all the way to Heavyweight. Do you think he went to heavyweight because he could no longer make Cruiser of 175? ;)

Patterson and Holyfield actually did have a desire and aim to mix it with the big boys too let it be known.

He's certainly a valid enough mention for me. You're only one poster not Boss Hog.

if it was a conversation in spanish it would be even funny answering your nonsenses forever but in english it expends my mind too much .
you will reply forever even in the cases that you realised that i was right so it is a waste of time

Archie moore fought at 160 too... In fact he had 60 fights weighing 160 and under this weight ,Is he a good example to use on this thread? Definitely he is not because in his prime he was a lhw.
