Crawford stands almost no chance against Golovkin. Like close to zero. Doomed. :)
And Loma at least has some chance to beat Crawford.

Yeah no. Crawford is smaller than Hearns was who might be the only welter to every really make a mark a light heavy. Hearns only worked so well because his power and height translated so well. For 99.9% of welterweights no way that happens. Hearns was an ATG Power puncher. Not so much with Crawford.

The topic is GGG. His power disappears against top opposition. Vanes who literally came off the couch and hired Ronda Rousey’s boxing coach buckled this guy.

Crawford will use his movement and be in SP position. Here’s what a shot to pieces 154 pounder Ouma (who Vanes and Gabriel Rosado beat a couple of fights prior) did to Golovkin.

You’re telling me Bud can’t have success against this mythical character you guys hype up.

Just to address the guys voting Loma who lost to Salido, you guys know you’re full of **** lmao

He barely got by Linares who evened the fight up by round 10. This is a man who couldn’t prove he was better than Demarco and whose best win is Crolla and hasn’t beat any other champion at 135. Sure guys. What’s also funny is weight bully Crawford now is small again and would get annihilated.

Golovkin’s time is up anyways. You guys already jumped off that bandwagon and are riding Lomachenko now who won’t make it another five fights without losing again to another weak opponent. The slightest size advantage against Loma greatly decreases his effectiveness. For as big you guys talk up Lomachenko, guys like Linares and Salido shouldn’t be exposing flaws.

12 fights, you already have an L and have been put on your ass. Facts are facts.

GGG v bud = tszyu v groves just to big.
Loma v bud could be competitive if loma fought defensively.

Yes Crawford has NO CHANCE AT ALL.

There' a reason why Crawford starts camp at 180+lbs and has been fighting at 135/140 which was two of the weakest divisions at the time and only now has moved up to 147 against the weakest of the champs.

For as great as Bud is he Ricky Burns shouldn't be one of your best wins....but hey go get onto the phone to Bud and ask him to fight GGG, they both start camp around the same weight.

Loma doesn't have the huge disadvantage in size but he also doesn't have the age advantage and Crawford is super comfy @ 147 whereas GGG looks like a cancer patient @ 160 weigh ins. If GGG could fight Bud @ 168 then I think Loma would have a marginally greater shot.

All things considered I think it's even, neither have much chance at all.

You’re so transparent, I don’t know why are you even trying.

Golovkin wrecks Crawford, Loma schools him or gets KO’d trying, skill is there but size matters.

As PimpC said, GGG beats Bud and Bud beats Loma.

    Size matters, lads.

If Crawford could truly beat Golovkin, he would be fighting at 160 pounds right now. The fact that he isn't fighting at 160 pounds, therefore means that he can't beat Golovkin. It's really as simple as that! Not very complicated! Your speculation is totally useless!

It's you who is exposing yourself as the one with contradictions. If Crawford could really fight and beat Golovkin, then why is he still hiding at 147 pounds then, rather than fighting at 160 pounds, in Golovkin's weight division? The only possible answer could be that he is a weight bully who is fighting multiple weight divisions below the weight division (160 pounds) he can comfortably fight at, because he is too scared and unwilling to fight guys his own size like Gennady Golovkin.

Or, Crawford really isn't that big to begin with and that Welterweight is his natural weight division. Which then makes this match up totally nonsensical to begin with, because Crawford would not be big enough and would lack the required size to qualify as a worthy opponent for Gennady Golovkin in the first place to begin with.

So which one is it? Are you ready to expose yourself?

As for Lomachenko vs Crawford. They're both also in two different weight divisions. Ergo, unless the fight happens in a weight division where both already competed at, Crawford would have to be the favorite.

Since Crawford did actually fight at 135 pounds, like Lomachenko. I'd make Lomachenko the favorite at 135 pounds. But anything higher than that weight class, Lomachenko remains unproven and therefore the massive underdog, until he does prove himself there.

Skill wise, Golovkin is also superior. Better jab. Better punch technique. Better punch mechanics. Better feinting skills and etc. So no, I don't even see Crawford winning the skill battle either.

It'd be a total mismatch! As would any natural welterweight vs Golovkin would be.
