Don't worry, apart from a few purple haired 'LGBT' feminist types and sex offenders, no normal people want to see women fighting. It's a horrid spectacle that goes against our natural instincts and is dreadful to watch. Just look at what WMMA is doing to the UFC, it's killing it. Views and PPV buys are in the gutter but the UFC are no doubt terrified to get rid of it because of the backlash they would face in todays politically correct, outrage obsessed culture. I would hate to see the same happen to boxing.

 

A lot of people on here clearly have no comprehension or understanding of how massive the physical gap is between males and females in sport. A decent similar sized 13-14 year-old lad from the juniors would beat Katie Taylor with ease, many would spark her out.

 

She's decent in her realm but women's boxing has an incredibly small talent pool. Which means more often than not the other fighter isn't going to be the same level, even if the fight is made with the best intentions.

It's nice that women's boxing is getting a push but it's being done in the wrong places. Taylor will sell because she's Irish, ultimately. And masking that idea under the banner of trying to push forward a spot that there's been sod all interest in before is both sly and ultimately quite clever.

My main bug here is when I see people saying "She could give the top men a run for their money!". Absolutely not, mate.

 

Well you no longer even have to have undergone 'reassignment' surgery in order to compete as a woman, simply identifying as your preferred gender and meeting some very basic, easily beatable hormone requirements is enough. There is currently a biological man dominating women's weightlifting and none of the other real women stand a chance against him. And this is just the beginning, we will see much more of these freak shows in the future and the hilarious irony is it will destroy real women's sports.

I am being 100% sincere and truthful, which is i believe that a 16 Year Old Boy just finishing Puberty and has trained as a boxer for at 6 months will be able to knock out Katie Taylor Cold. Which completely destroys the objective of watching womens boxing ? Why do people want to watch it ? I believe their's a lot of People on this forum who have domestic issues if you enjoy seeing women attempt to knock eachother uncounscious

Understand and Digest the difference's between a Male and Female's Body. Imagine Katie Taylor being on the end of some body shots from a 16 year Old, fresh, lightening, confident, agile Boy. Their bodies are not designed to fight, it's as simple as that. However they have a right to take part in Boxing if they wish to do, so the sensible thing would be to put Katie Taylor on a separate Women's Card which is what the majority of other Sports Do...But Hearn being the conman he is, obviously wont. Adam Smith also gets on my nerves, he was having a go at HBO for not showing the Katie Taylor fight in the US in April, would he being doing the same thing if it was a Man ? Too much PC in Boxing

Elite women in sport are not even school boy level when you compare them to males. There are long standing women's world records in athletics set by muscle bound roided up he-she's that routinely get smashed by drug free 13 and 14 year old boys in junior athletics. The best women's football teams get thrashed by under 15's boys teams and so on. Katie Taylor is no different.
