Name some fights you've tried to score and were left frustrated or unsure of your scorecard. There are always some bugaboos out there that are just horrible to score. Among mine are: Spinks-Eddie Davis Most Galindez fights
DLH - Quartey LaPorte v. Chavez, LaPorte v. Nelson Pintor - Zarate Toney - Reggie Johnson? Simon - Wright? Duran - Leonard (I've been meaning to rewatch and rescore for years now)
He fights so often in a passive, negative way, laying against the ropes, letting his opponent get a head of steam, and then he'll roar back out of nowhere like the Tazmanian Devil, landing some but missing often. The thing is, his opponent is so overwhelmed by the sudden (if brief) fury that you then have to ask yourself which you prefer to see as a judge; the more measured approach where the opponent controls more seconds of each round, or do you prefer the more crazed, more flashy, shorter advances of Galindez? His fights are just a b/tch.
Ah, I remember that one. Kiko made that bout way closer than anyone was expecting, and Warrington's stock as gone up with his recent big upset win...
No problem, you've been making really sharp threads too. Always good to have another mind on here to bounce things off of. How's life been treating you as of late? Unearth anything particularly good boxing wise lately?
Life's good, busy with the family these days, kids keep you in line for sure. Not much new with unearthing anything, the interest in it comes and goes, but seems to be there now. Always comes back eventually.
