My worry now is Joshua-Wilder, what will the price be on Sky ? Hearn has topped up Wilder's Guranteed Purse to reportedly £17.5M-20M. He is either banking on it either doing 2M PPV Buys on Sky or will raise the price from 19.95 to 24.95. I love how Sky dont charge £16.95 for any PPV cards anymore and have bumped all the PPV cards to £19.95 irrespective of the Main Event

 

I hope the PPV mugs have woke up at last and boycott all PPVs

I still dont understand why no-one in the media actually asks Eddie Hearn these type of questions after the press conferences etc ? That's their f***ing job

 

I respect the passion of some posters towards PPV but this 'mugs' thing is wearing a bit thin. Maybe I get a little irked at others telling me how I should be spending my cash? Considering I did over £12 on three coffees in Starbucks yesterday, I'm really not going to blink at £19.99 for a Saturday nights boxing. Besides, it's optional. If I don't want it I don't buy it.

Agree, just said the same on another thread. Chisora is finished now, he gave it one last big go against Whyte but he's done now. Takam wins fairly comfortably IMO. in probably a boring fight.

 

Extremely dissapointed this undercard especially when have Hearn goin on about how expensive undercard was to facilitate .where exactly ???? Katie Taylor vs whoever be less 6 figure

Seen above posts saying it's about main event well agree to disagree u are paying for full card. The prob is Hearn needs to put on so many ppv and not enough ppv fighters. Whyte hasn't a ppv fighter nor Parker. Yes whyte good viewing figures vs brown but that wasn't on ppl. The main event is not too bad but they could have did a lot better with this no 50 50 fights all 1 sided yet again. Feels very rushed

 

Yeah no one is a mug for buying what they want buy just think the quality of match ups for what is ment be a premium nights boxing is getting poorer and poorer and people aren't daft anymore. Not i terested in fake wwe type fights there is enough quality fighters and fights to be made without trash talk (which I get sells but other ways to promote )or if gettin trash talk fair enough but have quality fights on the bill

 

But these are all one off payments you're talking about. You pay Sky Sports £50 a month to get/fund quality boxing as part of the package. This is paying twice, for Joshua it's not a problem. But for Litter like Whyte, Parker, Chisora, Taylor, Takam, Brook it's blatantly taking the pis*

 

How is Hearn even this slick ? The guy didn't even go university, he worked at a accountacy firm. It stinks of Barry hearn polishing and influence.
