its a insult to call any pro boxer a bum.. seriously threads like this should be deleted smh.. they put there lives on the line everyfight and to be frank to many have gotten seriously injured or died in past couple years for you to go around using the term bum to define any fighter ...

I know what you mean but dont take what people say on here to heart..i respect anyone who steps in that ring to fight, but even im guilty of labelling some fighters 'bum'

Anyone hoping that Fury will fight Bellew or Charr next is going to be disappointed. It is going to be a slightly better bum. Now, the questions I would like to explore here is, which BUM would you like to see and why?

My answer is Sam Peter. Peter is a former WBC champ, but has only fought four times in 8 years, has lost three of his last five, and has not won a meaningful fight since Maskaev ten years ago. Frankly, he was never that good, and struggled with middleweight James Toney, as well as semi-retired Jameel McCline. Short, crude, with real but overrated power, he benefited from fighting in the weakest era of boxing. Lack of dedication and training has completely derailed whatever he might one have had.

He is perfect for Fury, and all the more perfect because a couple of months back, he asked for the fight.

At barely six foot, he won't find Fury with a geiger counter. A Nigerian 38 (probably more like 50) and fat, he will gas long before even fatty Fury.

And yet, the fight would be fun, because if he did somehow manage to land one right hand, he could do some damage. Which is probably why it will not come off.

I really, really want to see this fight happen.
